Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Final Reckoning - Joss Mooney

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I have lost some much respect for Joss lately from him faking a relationship with Danni to calling Davonne 8 miles and calling Amanda a disgusting little boy...

The Davonne 8 mile is really bad. That is almost Camilla level bs.

Camila called her fellow black houseguests the n word among what she did to Leroy. Joss deserves to get this work for his mouth and stereotyping but I just want to be clear that minimizing how terrible Camila is, is not it chief

Hence the almost. I think Taylor is almost as well.

you’re still minimizing Camilas targeted angry racism. It’s not worth getting into about but just no. All 3 could fall off a cliff for all I care but if I had the option to only push 1 Camila is getting that sweet chin music

Did Joss having all this energy with Zach when he was clocking his girl all season or was it “just chill out man” with him?

Chileeee Joseph has been canceled ever since he tried to fake a relationship with Danni after that i knew he was a fraud

Not to mention the pouring water on Cara. Cara should've slapped him right then & there. Production wouldn't have sent her home that's their puppet

deeper#132

I'm not defending him, but we apparently take Day's perspective as law now? Like.. sounds like a joke that could've been taken out of context to me, albeit an insensitive one. Day doesn't play around with jokes but if you've seen any of the EOTB British boys, they all have that "boys will be boys" sense of humor. Idk.

He and the other guys did it to several people. It wasn't a personal attack on Cara.

That doesn't make it right. Any one else that participated in that should be slapped as well. I get some people may joke like that but to me that isn't funny or cute unless we're at a beach or pool party.

They all **** around with each other. Toilet seats, chips in bed, (both more annoying examples) etc. They're bored af in the house with nothing to do. Jokes, even annoying ones, have always been apart of the Challenge. Remember Sarah getting **** thrown on her.... that's deserving of a slap. Water? Meh.

I'm not saying she's lying, I'm saying she has a different perspective

Yea exactly. Same with Australians I've met. They say shit that's insensitive but funny but don't really mean harm by it.

Lol if only i knew you i would throw water on you when you least expected it just to see your reaction. We'll agree to disagree when it comes to whether something is a prank or not

WittyWrath#141

Davonne has made it known from day one she doesn't entertain the ******* so why mess with someone like that unless you're trying to be an ***...

Challenge 17#142

They threw water balloons at people sleeping on rivals 2 and nobody cried about it. The racist stuff is troubling but we really out here acting like throwing water is that bad?

I've had that happened and plenty of other jokes. I don't take life that seriously, it's just water in a Challenge house.

Everyone isn’t okay with pranks I mean that’s a risk you have to take. I’m cool with most pranks if I’m awake but don’t throw water on me or put insects in my bed while I’m sleeping.

No. I mean you’re preying on the unexpected but you don’t target people who you barely know or gets easily emotional.

That's why they do it, they are looking for a reaction.

Ya.. I mean prank videos rely on the people getting scared shitless or mad lol

Not "omg good one! lol"

deeper#151

Anyway, I think that was highly insensitive of what he said about Day. I still like him, but that was not a cool comment.
