He was bad at the dailies, but he ate that elimination. Tori was a huge flop and anchor for that specific elimination. Sylvia kicked her ***, Derrick would've been geechi one on one vs Joss and don't even try to argue because I don't care. This is MY opinion. 

It's biased.  Joss actually did what he needed to do.  Derrick didn't grasp it. No female was doing that without help.  Maybe Laurel. 

Derrick literally had his hand out trying to help Tori and Tori insisted on trying to hulk through it instead. I know you got a hard on for Tori, but this was on her.

The confessional commentary certainly said that he was 'doing it wrong' but I don't remember thinking that at the time it aired from my, albeit obviously limited, perspective. I do remember Derrick absolutely flying in that elimination though. I think he would have had a damn good shot against any guy that season if it was a 1v1.

I always wished he had gotten another chance
