Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Final Reckoning - Big Little Lies

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

It's easier for them to start drama if people already have issues with each other

yet the drama be stale. Why do they forget that they best drama came from team seasons with no twist lmao. These days they wrap the cast around the twist/format when back then it was the Cast that made the format or whatever. Idk why competition shows are in the era of being extra but I wish they would go back to some OG roots

Because for whatever reason producers fear that a simple format isn't exciting enough anymore, like how shows like survivor and amazing race have more twists than ever.
