Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Double Agents- Weston Bergmann

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Some of yall may hate him but he's always been the most likeable of all the mediocre white vets (johnny,ct,jordan) and he actually was being honest when he said he was gonna retire unlike some others.

The Challenge: Double Agents- Weston Bergmann

Wes to me has the same problem most(if not all) the vets do: They're not interesting, and they don't do anything to really make the show worth watching. Not to mention everything he's done now is so repetitive. The Mastermind shtick is played out and we've seen it too many times. Give us something new. Give us something to look forward to, People say the challenge is about seeing people we "Know" grow and change through the years well....Well shit. I haven't seen any change in awhile.

It's why I'm completly fine with them casting all around the world...well within reason and as long as they're useful.

I couldn't disagree with you more on "not interesting" and "don't make the show interesting". He's the one vet left who is capable of making the show interesting! He's the only saving grace and shouldn't be lumped in with them. The Wes masterclass we got on WOTW is sorely overlooked. Even his presence on WOTW 2 set off a domino effect and he was there for like 5 seconds.

Teaming up with Johnny Bananas was lame. But if you were to put him on a season like this with all these rookies and he had an adversary, for instance, it would easily be 10 times more entertaining. That's his power.
