I understand why we're seeing threads for Wes, John, Cara and even Rogan but they're not the solution.  The plan following FR worked briefly but then blew up.

Who should have the vets been?  That's where I get torn.  CT, Kam & Tori were obvious choices but beyond that...Day?  Slyvia?  Joss?  Shane?  Brad?  Brit?  

He announced today on his IG Story that he won't be on any challenges ( spin-offs included ) for a while

Yeah nothing Wes says has meaning. This actually makes me think he dies show up. He'd been lying about it since 2008.

And then took 4 seasons off, which would definetly be considered a solid break these days. My guess is we see him on 40

I really hope we haven't seen the last of him & that he's just trolling.

I mean, at least he takes breaks.

We have had Kyle since his debut. We've had Ashley since Final Reckoning and even then, Vendettas was her only break. Same goes for CT. I mean we have somehow reached a point where Josh has joined the 5-timers club.

agreed.  Had they done a better job rotatating the cast and searchign within their own pool of people they had been bringing on we wouldn't be where we are with this current season's casting.

His schooling Josh that they weren't a thing because Wes wouldn't vote out someone who he could beat was awesome.

There we go. Exactly all of this. He handled that moment like a straight up g btw. lmao. That's what separates the legends of the game from the pretenders. He is in the group for the former for a reason. And even looking at that group, I'm sorry, but I find him to be infinitely more watchable and interesting tv than Bananas and CT.

I loved Wes since his debut but when the whole thing with Day happened he left a sour taste in my mouth and I never looked back. I tolerate him now but he has his Devin tendancies of doing too much. 

Wes became everything that he used to stand against lmao thats why I dont really care for him nomore. Not that hes doing anything "wrong" imo but he serves no purpose if hes gonna be Barney & Friends

You know that makes a lot of sense because I feel like a lot of these vets have just been giving us the same material and after so long, it starts to feel stale.

I think a lot of it comes from them not rotating the vets enough times. We get them so many seasons in a row (even with the one-two season breaks) and they just give us the same thing and it gets watered down more and more with each passing season.
