As far as I heard they knew each other from the same friend group and just like Fessy she looked for someone that was fit that had an sport background. But they were never close prior that season. 

I remember I knew another guy that she told them about as potential tiff or dies but I have to look through old msgs.

Didn't she just say something like, "you don't want people to know why you said you wouldn't date Kyland". It was probably more likely because he identifies as pansexual or cause he is VERY, VERY high functoning Autistic. Weren't her last two boyfriends black, so I doubt it is race related. And if Nurys is protecting her from racist comments made, Nurys is a problem too.
