The eating challenge is a great equalizer, because people usually don't complete this task  fast and the second/third place team can catch up, especially if the final is looking to be dominated by one team.

You're not alone.  I don't eat tartar sauce so it is either ketchup or cocktail sauce.  No one has ever given me a hard time about it in the states--I did get shit for it in Canada.
