The Challenge : Battle Of The Bloodlines - Ratings

I was expecting around these numbers a little higher 600k lol 

Despite people on here saying they promote this season good, I think MTV should promote outside their network. ALl of their shows ratings are around these numbers these days it's pathetic. Plus they should have waited until January, I dont see this increasing during the holidays.

AYTO3 got similar number, the premiere was higher but it was with teen mom 2 help.But I noticed with AYTO 4 season renewal that these demographics are not the ones that matter. They care about the one 12-24 which tends to be higher.

Ouch. That is terrible..But the holidays are coming up so it's not surprising. (But they probabbly wouldn't be all that much higher honestly)

I doubt promoting outside MTV is gonna do all that much. They could try to cast better but that's not going to happen.

Its honestly tough having been a fan of the show for 15 or so years and seeing premieres end up like this. I love competiton and drama isn't bad, but the Challenge is the ultimate reality show, shame more people don't dedicate to it like we all do.

Cast really doesnt matter the challenge still would get the same ratings or around the same ratings if its airing on MTV. For some reason all of their shows keep struggling in the ratings department. Teen Mom has always double and even triple The Real World, AYTO and Challenge ratings. Even though it hasnt seen those tragic numbers, Teen Mom used to put over 3 millions a year and half ago now it hardly pulls 1.2 thats a huge decrease.

MTV ratings sucks and they keep going down. They need to step up their game not for the challenge but for all their  shows because other than finalies the ratings stay in ******** for other shows that is not Teen Mom.

Like PinkRose stated this is a reflection on the promotion. The Challenge had a great trailer and what looks to be overall a good season but the promotion sucks. The worst part for MTV is their sister network VH1 brings in millions so I don't understand why they don't promote The Challenge, Real World, and AYTO during Monday nights when Love & Hip Hop airs.

That's not what I even meant. I mean there are several shows that BETTER it nowadays.(Survivor being one of them) So it can't really be the ultimate reality show if it gets dragged by other shows in it's genre.

Plus I watched online either way lmao MTV doesn't deserve decent ratings until they tighten up.

I doubt any Vevmo users are Neilsen households, which are the only viewers that matter. 

It's crazy because VH1 brings in over 2 million every episode with LHH and even then they repeats repeat over 1 million 

This past Mon ratings:

Love and Hip Hop Hollywood- 2,597 (in millions)

Black Ink Chicago- 1,928 (in millions)

I know 100% that MTV has been promoting this season like crazy, I've been watching Teen Mom episodes and almost every commercial break have a Bloodline commercial. I personally believe the reason maybe because of scheduling why the ratings suck, who tf premeires a show in the middle of the holiday season.

This holiday season excuse is bullshit. Ain't nobody doing nothing the first week of December that stops them from watching the show. The promotion was simply garbage and the ten of us on Vevmo watching it online before the premiere had very little effect.

Perhaps, but it's disturbing considering FA and Exes 2 ratings were around 1.0 for most episodes and this is only roughly half of that.
