Behind the Screen: The Challenge: Australia- Troy Cullen

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

His hair actually looks decent here if you've seen other photos of him...

The Challenge: Australia- Troy Cullen

Original Show: Ninja warrior 3 , Ninja Warrior 4 & Ninja Warrior 5

Has Ninja Warrior prepared you for The Challenge?

Doing Ninja Warrior has prepared me for The Challenge a lot, as I believe there will be similar obstacles. I think that's what's so great about The Challenge - I think there are going to be a lot of different obstacles for me to try and overcome.

What are your strengths and weaknesses coming into The Challenge?

I'd say I've got a lot of strengths. My biggest strength would be I'm pretty well rounded, and I'm decent at puzzles and math.

My biggest weakness would be eating, and I reckon I might struggle to do the eating challenges. Another thing is that I am quite small in stature, so people might see that as an opportunity to get me in something physical.

'The only thing I could have done different [to win] is break his arm and I just didn't want to go there.

Whilst their scuffle was summed up in less than 10 minutes of footage, Konrad revealed to Now to Love that in real life, their wrestling continued for over 90 minutes.

''One thing you didn't really see [in the elimination challenge] was that we were doing it for about an hour and a half. So I was picking him up and dropping him on his head again and again and it got to a point where I was worried that I would break his neck or something.''

Even speaking about it months after filming has wrapped, it is clear Konrad does not have particularly fond memories of the experience.

''I actually saw him in Argentina [after filming wrapped] and I mentioned to him that I felt that at one point I thought I could have paralysed him and he was like 'aw man you should have just kept trying' so maybe if I did it again I would break something but I dunno….I really don't think it was worth it for him to be injured like that, even with 100k on the line.''**

"you shouldve just kept trying" man troy is really something else

He is what Derrik K pretends to be. Onyl difference Troy legitmately won his pole wrestle

FromTheNorth#19

Great performance by him, he's super well rounded almost like a Jordan where he can do everything except doesn't have the strength as the big guys, but obviously has the grip strength to compete with anyone in a pole wrestle
