Behind the Screen: The Challenge Argentina : El Desafio - Sol Perez

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Winning this as the only winner and declining that global shit lmaoAlso getting a job at Telefe for like 6 months just to talk shit two nights a week on prime tv on a rating phenomenon show...

The fact that she is the only winner and declined the show is so embarrassing. MTV needs to pack it the fuck up.

& crazy thing is that back when filming was done I remember seeing a video of Oky saying that they kept insisting for him to do global but he couldn't do it so quick after being with that show. Even with 2 winners they would have had 0 argentina winners on global.

Didn't watch Argentina. How was she as a competitor and winner overall? Would've loved to have seen her on world championshit or w/e

The argentina cast was much weaker than the other world champion seasons competition wise. She was a top competitor but only one 1 daily and then the final.

Definitely made for the show, but I cannot stand her at all. If this somehow gets renewed for a second season, I need the Gran Hermano (the Big Brother of Argentina) girlies to debut because I think they'd give Sol a run for her money as the MVP of the spinoff. Vevmo would never be ready for a Coti Romero, "Furia" Scaglione or Juliana Díaz debut.

Doubt this will be renewed. Especially if they aren't gonna bother with USA and All-Stars anymore. They know the spin offs are better.

It's a shame if they don't renew it, because I thought the spin offs were a breath of fresh air considering how long and dense the flagship show has gotten. I'd maybe see a chance for Argentina to get a second season because we don't have many realities or interesting stuff going on here, so if they made a second season I think they'd get good ratings. But again, it's probably not Telefé's (the airing channel) decision to make here.

I'm shocked a second Argentinian season is being discussed, let alone requested. Most of the cast from the show weren't really reality stars like in UK, AUSTRALIA, or USA , it seemed like they just assembled whoever they could get.

it was interesting for the time, but it was all just a ploy for world championship, which I don't see them doing again. We were lucky to get USA 2, probably due to the strikes...

Mother Sol would come back and win again
