Some people are so privileged that they can just ignore it. Like you said a whole political party just denies the historical effects on certain minority groups.

I have no political affiliation but it is annoying when people ignore Biden and Harris' history that was hurtful to minorities. And what has Biden done to prevent police brutality in his first 100 days? Someone writes lines for him in a speech and then he gets praised for being so woke. Or how since the Shelby County decision, which was a 5-4 decision with the 5 people all being nominated by Republicans, that voting has actually been harder on black people. Listen to Biden's speech in 1993 or Hilary Clinton's speech in 1994--then tell me either care about the black community.  Check out the statistics during the tenure of Harris as DA or AG in SF/CA.  Anyone that thinks Republicans are the problem aren't paying attention.  If you want to bash Trump go for it but use facts not spin.

Both parties exist to uphold capitalism, the capitalist class, and to ensure that the working class never has enough power to change society (you know, so they can have a liveable wage, healthcare, all the cute little things people have convinced themselves that they don't deserve??). It just so happens that one is more open about accusing minorities of being the ones who are causing the destruction of society (again, to protect capital...)

The funny part is that many (prob including kvm lol) probably see Democrats as socialists or something (which certainly shows a lack of knowledge of political/economic theory..)

This is where you lose credibility.  That's not what the Republican Party is built upon and the fact you criticized a black man for being a Republican is ridiculous.  Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.  If you think most Republicans vote how they do in order to silence minorities you have no clue what you're talking about.  

If you actually have the edcuational background to discuss Shelby County v. Holder with me I'd be glad to have that conversation but my guess is you simply disagree with the result and aren't focused on the legal aspect of it.

Not that I want to get in the mind of a castmembers ideology as its none of my business, but It should be noted that Alton's brother and childhood friend were raped and murdered when he was a child (Alton was supposed to be with them) so that could form his worldview on issues.

As for weird views, if I went through what Alton went through as a child I'd be weird...period.

YOU brought up Hilary and Biden, as if the bad things they've done is in any way shape or form relevant to the bad things Trump does. We brought up socialists to show that just because you criticize Trump doesn't mean you support hilary/biden, which you implied by bringing them up as if they were part of the conversation.

I did.  Alton was attacked for supporting Trump when Biden & Clinton are every bit as bad.  Attack those that voted for Biden too then or you're being hypocritical.  That's just a fact.  It's an opinion that it's not as bad as Trump.  Have you listened to their 1993 and 1994 speeches?  If so, find me a speech where Trump every said anything close to that.

Of course they're part of the coversation.  The election was Trump vs. Biden (and Clinton in 2016) so support Trump over them was the discussion.   Who do you think Alton should have voted for?  And why do you care who he votes for?  If you voted for Biden you support Biden...you may not like him but you support him.

I attempted to watch the challenge on Paramount Plus but it required for me to sign in and verify my email address and password.     Why didnt Paramount Plus just take my word on the app that I am a subscriber!!!!!!!   I had to prove and verify myself!!!!!!      Gosh, I can only imagine the 1000000000000 things we do on a daily basis that requires verification.

Giving out free stuff, doesnt equate to helping out. Helping to boost the economy, which creates jobs, which helps the non priveleged is what actually helps. We need to get people out of the poor, not keep them there. Giving hand outs doesn't solve that problem. Democrats do the opposite of looking out for minorites, they give handouts to secure a vote. They don't initiate policies to bring people out of the poor.
