The episodes now are 43-44 minutes long. That's with 90 seconds of intro and another minute of credits.

The editors are completely unable to comprehensively tell the story of the episode in 41 minutes. They've failed time and time again.

Either give the show a 48-52 minute runtime or just fill it with filler for the 62 minutes and give us the full hour and a half block with commercials!

They can't tell a story in 90 minutes either. They don't air entertaining stuff so they fill it with pointless and boring segments. Plus challenges and eliminations are so drawn out. We had a 5 minute recap last week & 2 video calls home which are the WORST. The editors and story producers just SUCK and nothing is going to change no matter the time.

The daily challenges are absolutely too drawn out. Katie and Veronica got a near 2 minute segment on their poor performance at The Challenge last week that a competent editor could've pared down to 40 seconds.

Though I had a good belly chuckle watching Sam spin around uncontrollably.

I don't find it that bad... I pay attention to what I want and am often in my phone but whatever. It's watchable.

They just need to find the editors of yesteryear who could tell an amazing story full of drama, fun real moments, competition, deliberation, elimination, and goodbyes all in under 30 min.  With 43min there is no excuse

At one point, all stars did have some OG people behind the scenes return, but I believe it changed around AS3 or 4. IMO it shows

I doubt they hate seeing them, they just hate the constant confessionals  talking about how he's "doing it" for them.

that quick second was palatable for me. Its the "im doing it for my kids" that annoys me much more.
