Behind the Screen: The Challenge: All Stars 5 Rivals- Ratings

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Because I have a passion for redundancy.

Having the climax of your season come up against the Survivor merge is just suicide. Survivor had its two highest rated episodes these past two weeks.

This is not good...

The audience checked out when Veronica and Katie left

CosmicDiva#159

I don't blame mfs for not wanting to watch after Katie and Veronica left either. That was my take on it as well.

oh those ratings are terrible we are not getting an all stars 6

Tvandcoffee#163

Which would figure since its the most entertaining season of recent years for me personally

Flopnanas#164

its bad but not terrible considering it was a bad cast of leftovers from the start. Most of the cast definitely arent allstars.

Sportsman180#165

oh those ratings are terrible we are not getting an all stars 6

Put this on Tuesdays or Thursday and it averages 360k and a 0.15 in the demo.

I legitimately do not understand the logic of going against the biggest reality television show still on AND it's one of your feeder shows!!!

OS Kajun#166

And not having a next day airing on Paraflop and the second showing still competes with Survivor instead of doing an episode of Ridiculousness and then airing it again after Survivor. It's truly self-sabotage.

You really think MTV isn't happy with that against Survivor?  It's their only show that would get any viewership in that time slot

OS Kajun#168

KVM entering with the let me use my fake lawyer skills to argue just for the sake of being a contrarian.

OS Kajun#169

I don't think they are happy with the ratings. I think they just don't care. MTV is just waiting to die and they'll pop out whatever till it does. Their marketing is terrible. The timeslots are terrible. The acceasibility is terrible. The editing is terrible. They just don't care.

Nice bump back towards the average for the finale. I don't know how you do better than this going against Survivor.

Tuesdays and Thursdays this is a 350k show with a ~0.15 in the demo.
