I'm worried about this :/ with it not being automatically recorded on DVR as The Challenge, the poor marketing, and right after a very long and boring S40. I think the ratings are gonna be very poor.

The DVR botching was the icing on the cake. I pay for cable and I still had to pirate it.

I actually expected worse, lol. There was a lack of promotion. We just finished a 20-episode season. The transition from streaming to cable, along with spin-offs on MTV, has historically performed worse than the flagship show.

I think it didn't decline too much because it aired the week after 40 finished... if it aired weeks or months after probably woulda been under 300k

Any time there isn't a "mission, vote and elimination" that's a problem but that should only be the first episode 

90 minutes isn't needed--it's one of the biggest issues with the current show.   What you said above is why Rivals 3 is impossible to watch (nothing happnes) but this was just to introduce people and get them the episode count they needed.

Stop ending at 8:55 but 60 >>>>> 90 minutes

I don't get why they took the live link off the MTV site. At least they were getting web traffic and ad revenue from that.

I guess they didnt like that many people were just making new emails every week just to watch the show. The first episode of allstars is currently for free on the website but the rest of the episodes will not be like how they did on 40
