Behind the Screen: Big Brother 19: Episode Discussion

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

...it was bitter jury and bad jury management. Paul didn't own up to SHIT and expected jury to still love him when he completely ****** them all over. Josh exposed his game with his goodbye messages and Paul still pretended to be blind to everything he orchestrated. It would be a diff story if Paul owned up, but he didn't.

Dash_Vegas#574

At first I thought all the praise for Josh's Goodbye messages was overrated, but Paul got sloppy at the end there. You gotta own it dude. Had he known of Josh's goodbye messages he might have owned it, but either way playing dumb at that point was stupid. You have to know that if/when notes are going to be exchanged it's in the jury house. But perhaps he doesn't since he never went there?

wutzrenzi#575

Paul needed this loss lmao. How did you run the whole game and got this far and not take ownership of any of it and played victim (until you did damage control in your final speech).

This was an amazing turn of events.

GDInstall#576

Paul did own up his game in his jury speech i feel(not in the questins) and those goodbye messages really didnt do anything. He started with Jason (who was already bitter before Josh telling him), Raven ( no impact), Alex( was already bitter before leaving), Kevin no impact.

As much as Kev was a sheep, I would not have voted for Cody with all the remarks he made. I think he definitely got a big help by Jess who has been fun to watch outside the show.

WittyWrath#577

Paul will only get another chance if they do All-Stars and I'm sure he will be one of the first people evicted.

casuals don’t hear all the remarks Cody said.

Cody had a few dumb remarks but so did almost half the cast including Kevin. IMO Cody was more entertaining to watch and my decision was based on that not any of his personal feelings.

Paul has the Russell effect, his jury management SUCKED. His loss was 100% his own fault, his question answering sucked and Raven/Matt really hurt his chances which is the best part. This season deserved Josh as the winner.

Jailah#581

Who cares about Codys remarks? He's always singled out when he wasn't the only one in that house to make stupid comments. Others made worse comments throughout the season

she had like 40+ votes  (3) Jason 32000+, (2) Kevin38000+ & (1)Cody 46000+

I just feel like Cody made too many remarks before being evicted the first time and once he returned he really kept isolating himself to really deserve AFP because he wasn't all that great on the feeds once he got his weird underdog role and the mob mentality. It's strange but Jody played their best game when they were alone. Kevin entertained me much more on the live feeds than Kev.BTW: Watching Dr. Will on FB live...shows that he is really mile ahead over anyone besides Dan.Like Will said: At least this year Josh won and did something noticable with the goodbye message to win, it sucks that everyone got his hands dirty for and because of Paul and he basically did play a better game both times he did.

He won, how can't you not single him out here.It really shows how bad the cast was when everyone was akward to watch and made dumb comments.

TYGUY14#585

Paul NOT winning and Cody winning AFP??

*NUTS*

Jess has really been entertaining watching her after her eviction.

Alec#587

What a perfect way to end this season---Paul losing by 1 vote again, Cody being the deciding vote, and Cody winning AFP.

Paul is one of the worst players every with such terrible jury management. And Raven is a stupid ***** still.

Jailah#588

Julie giving Jessica all the attention tonight >>> we all know who the star of the season was

Alec#589

I hated Josh to be frank. His lisp annoyed me and his personality was awful. However, anyone is a better winner than Paul except Raven and Matt.

Jailah#590

Did anyone see Raven walk out onto the stage waving and strutting like she is on a beauty pageant? Trash swears she's Americas Favorite when her *** looks like Pennywise

Morris1721#591

100% accurate.

Between Paul losing this, and Darci Lynn winning AGT.. what a great night for competition shows. I don't even watch AGT but I had a soft spot for that talented girl. Good night all!

wutzrenzi#592

Ive been waiting for Raven to be properly ripped to shreds on this show and it never happened. wtf

RLK2014#593

She deserved to win AGT how about you sing like that with your mouth shut.. but...

paul doesn't know why he lost last year as a returning vet who got 2nd it should be your idea to say maybe I should watch to see what I can change. Paul just took the advice of Derrick and Nicole and people like that but Nicole and Derrick didn't **** people off like that. Paul would've won last year had he not ****ed ppl off

WittyWrath#594

Josh screaming when he won will forever be iconic. It wasn't intentional but I know that had to annoy Paul's ***.

gamer73#595

Watching Paul so upset during Josh’s answers was ICONIC

When he snatched away the hug and handshake at the end lol not realizing he was on tv still but then when he knew the cameras were on him he was holding Josh’s hand and supporting him when he blanked on his speech was AMAZING. Made the season.

TwoStrikes#597

Paul mouthing "not again, not again, ****" when Julie was reading the last key >>>>>

Jailah#598

Paul probably suffering from PTSD after tonight's loss and Codys win

GDInstall#599

Doubtful with who probably will get picked for All-Stars. If they truly want an All-Stars season meaning Frankie/Derrick/Victor type of people.  Watch Paul will be the underdog next season again lol

I don't think we will see Paul again. He wasn't well received by the fans this time and not in like a fun to hate way like **** but people really despised him. Not sure he will want to return after the reception he receives.

Yeah we will never see Paul play again, I'm sure of it. And even if we did, after how he played this season? He wouldn't make it more than 2-3 evictions.
