Him and Adam were one of the top three teams hours ahead of the rest of the pack coming into the next leg, yet were the last team to be spotted leaving a detour before the spoiler person went home for the day. Taylor/Kyland were spotted driving away an hour before despite being at the bottom of the pack last leg, and the other top two teams were seen completing a road block nearly five hours before then.
It's likely they got lost for a while and didn't have a good leg. Doesn't mean they're out though and others could be in the same predicament.

Leg 4 happened today in Budapest, Hungary
All 10 remaining teams were spotted
Kat/Alex, Rubina/Kristine, and Hannah/Simone seemed to be trailing going into the detour (likely the final task). Hannah/Simone were in last but not by much
There was also a Fast Forward this leg and both Tucker/Eric and Natalie/Stephanie weren't seen since that clue (could just be a coincidence but it's likely one of them got it)
