Behind the Screen: The X Factor USA

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I usually hate all competition shows (besides AGT and ABDC) But I really love this one...

This was a damn good series premiere. Other than Gio I loved every minute...

It was great, so much better than AI.

I hate to be the one that disagrees, but I thought the show was terrible. There was any real talent like American Idol or The Voice. They put through some terrible singers in my opinion, and the 42 year old that couldnt control her emotions was NOT as good as the judges said she was. The show was for sure subpar.

Now I know you're mistaken. The Voice having good singers? No and that show's motif was just very stupid and tired. Terrible singers? Like who? The 42 year old was excellent you must be kidding. But to each their own.

Agree 110%. The editing in the show was so weird. It was horrible!

I only saw the second half, and it seelemd like 5 minutes backstory, they'd sing, 3 minutes judges - post-performance shot - commercial
Youssarian#39
So I definitely just saw Mark and Trishelle in the audience. Or their twins.

Not that editing... when the guy pulled down his pants and his underwear was showing they blocked it out like he was completely naked then Paula walked off stage in disgust. It's so over-the-top and ridiculous to where you can't help but laugh at how pathetic the show is.

Michelle muara the girl who sung Listen from Dreamgirls was hella awesome Its between her, the 12 year old girl who went first Wednesday and the white guy with the funny hair

Actually I do when it's relevant, lol. No harm done. And RMD1 true but one can hope.

The auditions were great, the talent is so much more diverse and just generally better than American Idol. The people who get just a 30 second slot are American Idol winners.
bayday#48
I have to disagree with some of you. I really don't the talent is all that. No one has made me feel the wow factor. Even watching Idol auditions I get chills from certain acts. I hope this show gets better, because I so far don't see a Kelly or Carrie coming from this show.
Nostalgic#50
I sound like a hypocrite here but **** it after watching the final round of auditions this is going to be too damn easy. It's going to be between the very first audition girl and (insert name here that I'm too lazy to remember) to win. Either way Leona better have some input. And the whole Cheryl Cole accent thing that got her fired is ridiculous. I like the 4 group break off but can someone explain it a little more?

Anyone else been loving this show? I'm watching it now and I hope for Brennin Hunt, Chris Rene, Drew (can't spell her last name), and Tora Woloshin to make it!

I saw the Stereo Hoggz audition in Dallas; IMO think they should be sent home already. I'm rooting for 2'Squared, Jazzlyn Little, Stacy Francis, Nick Voss, and Leroy Bell Also, the inTENsity kids have no chance in hell at winning.

They reminded me of kids bop. lol.

I'm not watching Xfactor anymore it has GREAT talent but terrible judges and results. They eliminated all my favorites in ONE episode. I might tune in for the Justin Beiber girl but everyone else sucks. I'm gonna have to follow Jazzlyn Little, Brennin Hunt, and 4Square to see any new good music coming from them because all these judges are IDIOTS to not take these through. How the heck did Dexter Hayes make it? I'm tired of people going through competitions with sob stories and making it for that reason alone. So yeah I hope Xfactor crashes because of Simon's terrible choices. Jazzlyn, Brennin and Caitlyn were trending worldwide because they didn't make it I hope the judges see how idiotic they are.

Could not agree with you more. Caitlin, Brennin and Jazzlyn were my favorites. Chris Rene, Tiah, Dexter and Simone getting through are complete jokes.

Girls: How did Torah, Jazzlyn, and Melanie not make it when people like Simone and Tiah went through?!?!?! Boys: I think Nick Voss should have went through over Brian Bradley. Overs: Tiger should've made it over Leroy and Elaine should have made it over Dexter. Groups: Made pretty good decisions. My rank of who did the best: 1.Paula 2.L.A 3.Nicole 4.Simon

This show puts the UK X Factor to shame, so much talent.

UK X-Factor this season is way better than this.Paula should be fired, the groups are horrid.

My favorite acts: 1)Drew 2)Melanie 3)Rachel Crow 4)Phillip Lomax 5)Lakoda Rayne 6)Intensity 7)Tiah As the season goes on I'm sure I will drop some of them. I really do believe the girls are WAY more talented than the guys this year.
