Behind the Screen: The Walking Dead

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Person taking over is Angela Kang she’s been with The Walking Dead since season 2.

She needs to write episode(s) which Greg Nicotero would direct, I would like to see their chemistry.

She already has and one of her episodes was the one where Rick kills Shane. She also wrote the one where Dale dies in season 2.

I stopped watching after Beth's death. Its so boring and predictable.

Maybe it wouldn't be so boring if they didn't try to stretch 3-4 seasons worth of content into a decade. They easily could have told all 8 seasons in half that. Do what HBO is doing, make 1 good show and then cash in with a bunch of spinoffs later, while you still have a fanbase

Season 1 was done right. One volume in one season. Now Maggie and Rick leaving. That's too much!

The Governor had like 3-4 volumes & Negan had over 4, this makes no sense

I am still shooked from the episode I mean I knew it was coming but I wasn't sure who they were going to get in a way I knew they were not going to go the comic book route that would of been predictable. The characters they choose to bite the dust I teared up with Tammy, Enid, Tara and Henry. At first I thought they were going to kill the group that was going to protect hilltop but when they started showing all the missing people. I am glad they showed how they fought to the last minute as Sadik was telling the others. Glad the King Ezequiel, Rosita (even tho I would of prefer her to bite the dust instead of Tara or Enid), and Luke were safe unlike in the comics.

Yeah, last night I cared about this show more than I have since at least season 6. Keep it up Kang & Co.

The Pike scene & the fighting back scene were both Iconic, I watched the last 10 minutes or so like 3 times

gamer73#525

Still shook tbh. They really played Tara, Henry, Enid, And Tammy!! Plus I was starting to live the highway men!!! Ughhh.

Carol really has lost four kids :’(

gamer73#526

Loving the new additions too. Daryl & Connie duo >>>>

Yeah I thought they were dumb at first but Ozzy & Dj this episode were pretty bad ***. Them coming in to save everyone at the end was awesome, even if they died.

Yeah I'm finally starting to warm back up to Daryl.

And Connie, Yumiko, Luke, Magna, Judith and even the whisperer trio of Alpha, Lydia & Beta were all good additions, with so many regulars leaving this season I expect them to take on bigger roles too

CokoMaggot#529

Goodbye Henry (better knowns as discount Carl), it is time to unleash psycho Carol and Negan. Also good work from Angela Kang for doing good job and fixing the show after Scott Gimple almost destroyed it.

CokoMaggot#530

Also I love how they are making Dixon family (Darly, Connie, Lydia and Dog) considering almost all Grimes will be gone next season.

melm3#531

People still watch this show?!

TwoStrikes#532

Not as invested but yea sometimes.

Angela Kang was the best thing that happened to this show.

JAMiEFiRE#535

Just started season 9 and I REALLY need to rant so SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!! I didn't think I'd make it to season 9...not gonna lie season 7 and 8 sucked the life of of me.... There were plenty of episodes where I thought it was SO boring and I wanted to quit so bad... But I had invested myself. The show will never hold the same appeal to me without gleyann and coral. Like we watched them grow... And I seriously CRY anytime they are brought up.... Im over this show... Its so Zzz and I'm not sure why.
