Behind the Screen: Vevmo Fantasy Football: 2013

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

My team is quite disappointing. I was very pleased after the draft and week 1, but Kaepernick went up in flames and Martin and Ridley never got rolling like I thought they would...

I seem to keep getting breaks and remain undefeated. 3140 Congratulations to Aereas from moving out of the cellar...

I seem to keep getting breaks and remain undefeated. 3140 Congratulations to Aereas from moving out of the cellar. Condolences to TFM for taking his place.

I better win this week. My opponent has 10 players on bye. I did lose last week though when the other guy did have 3 players in his lineup who didn't play.

I also had to change my team name. Reggie Wayne out for the year :(
Bacchus#67
Ouch. 3313 If only this was a game of horseshoes (or hand grenades).

A tough bye week, injuries and everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Today, 3 WRs and 1 RB have put up a total of 5 points and I got 8 from the Texans. At this pace I might not break 30 for the scoring period.

No excuses. I never made excuses for my struggles.

Which is surprising, considering how much your team sucks struggles. Of course, winning for your football team is such a rarity that you should bask in the moment when it arrives. My apologies if it seemed like I was making excuses. Enjoy.

My boys almost bailed me out with 48 points from Brady, Gronk and Gostkowski in Broncos v. Pats late night. Had it been Welker instead of Thomas as the focus on that last Denver drive, It would be up to Kaepernick to decide the outcome. Instead, it's a done deal. Congrats.

So it all comes down to today. Me vs Bacchus, winner goes to the playoffs loser likely doesn't.

Well, that escalated quickly...

If anyone had to go against Jamal Charles this week in your league I feel bad for them...I know first hand how horrible it is
Aereas#75
Mmm try Jamaal Charles, Brandon Marshall & the Seattle DST. And Dan Bailey the Cowboys placekicker who thanks to some stupid rules in that particular league, earned 23 (!!) points.

In another league, I lost in the first round of the playoffs last week, but had I won, I would have been slaughtered by a Jamaal Charles team. The person I would have played is currently at 208 points, best in the league thus far, and still has 1 more player playing.

Where are my congratulations for turning a 1-0 start into a last place run while updating my team every week?
