It's football (not baseball) so hopefully we can get 10. Last year we did invite only and it filled up fast. Were we considering moving to ESPN or Yahoo this year? Does someone want to step up and take the reigns? If not I'll do it. The NFL season kicks off on September 5th so could draft the weekend before.

Heh I'm ok with "someone else" running it this year, although with CBS there really isn't anything special about being the commish. I'm fine with hosting it at any of the major sites. I have one other league this year, an 8-man over on ESPN with full defensive positions... my first time doing that, should be interesting.

The parallels to George Washington are uncanny! :witless: If it is me running the show, I'll probably do CBS because it is so straightforward with few options. If TFM wants to do ESPN or Yahoo I am fine with that as well, although I know there are a slew of contentious options (how many starters at each position, flex, bench size, dl, draft flow etc.) but I am willing to go with the flow should that be the case. I'll send emails out to Vevmo players from the last two years to see how many of them are interested.

Which team were you? I was so distraught about not making the playoffs with Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson as my RBs that I didn't pay attention to the playoffs.

Yes. I will get to work on setting up the league.

I decided to go with ESPN. While CBS is simple, it is missing things I like (flex) and the minimum league size is 12. The good thing about ESPN is we can add teams right up to the draft if more people want to play, so we will start with 10 and go from there. The league is invite only and I have sent everyone here an invite via the email address you used to sign up for Vevmo. If did not get the email, or would like to use a different address - send me a PM with that information. Aereas, I need Zombie Squirrel's email address. The current division setup is temporary. I will set up divisions using a random list generator once everyone has joined. As for overall league settings, I left them at default and set the draft for the Sunday before the start of the season (Sept 1st) at 9:00 PM ET. The snake draft order will be randomized then. I'm open to suggestions as to rule/roster changes before the draft date.

Bringing up the rear, Aereas and Spinner who have not claimed their slots nor offered updated email addresses. I'm sure Aereas will make the excuse that, "I've been busy at work and I can't access ESPN from there" or blah blah blah - something else equally as lame. Meanwhile Spinner will go with his old standby, "My dog ate my laptop."
