Behind the Screen: Up

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Ok, usually I hate Disney/Pixar movies. They put a bunch of animals together in a movie, make them all talk, and its all cookie-cutter from there. But I saw Up last night because my girlfriend wanted to see it, and because she never balks at me taking her to things like Grindhouse, Drag Me To Hell, and Bruno. So I threw her a bone =) Honestly...I actually REALLY liked it! It was original, funny, and sad all at the same time. The old man character was endearing, as was the little boy Russell that ends up following him around. It's a good story about living our your lifelong dreams, and how life doesn't always end up the way you expect it. All the rave reviews were actually spot on, and I'd recommend it to anyone who digs the Disney thing. Saw a trailer for Toy Story 3 too, and I must say, I'm psyched about it! haha
