Behind the Screen: Twilight

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I just set a picture of Rob Pattinson as the background on my phone. I'm 30 years old. I'm shaking my head at myself.

Well, is it of him as Edward or like a photo shoot/candid shot? I think I would be more willing to let a normal photo of him pass but if it is a Twilight promo pic or something we may need to have a talk. ;)

I have finally seen a Twilight movie..went to Eclipse, midnight showing of course, with my niece. I have to say, it was pretty good, I hear the books are great! Gotta love Jacob, Have no idea what all the fuss about Edward is??? And Bella, don't get me started...there's plenty of girls would love to take her spot and be grateful for it.

It's most def a promo pic. I just left the movie (for the second time) and I feel like I need to fill a Twilight void. I called my friend who borrowed my Breaking Dawn book and asked for it back. I need to read.

You really should read the books. They are a million times better than the movie.

Infact.. here are what my phone screens look like. lol

Haha you are too much Insider! I think he needs more glitter. ;)

Changed it. Like this one better? lol
tatertots#1000
Ooh! Yes! Much better. He actually looks good (and clean) in that pic. Very brooding.

I was never really that into this series, but I will admit the third movie was a lot better than the first two. Does anyone know if she plans on making anymore books past Breaking Dawn?

She wrote The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. That's out now. Also, she started writing Midnight Sun, but stopped because it was leaked to the media.

Have you or anyone else read the leaked version of Midnight Sun?

It's my favorite book. I hope she finishes it. Its the story of Twilight retold from Edward's point of view rather than Bella's.

So I saw Eclipse last night and it was hilarious! (Sorry Insider...) My favorite part was when Bella punched Jacob and broke her hand followed closely behind when Jacob says "Well, I am hotter than you," to Edward in the tent. That whole tent scene was super awkward by the way. All the flashbacks to how the Cullens' became vamps made me really wish she had written stories about them because those flashbacks seemed way more interesting than Forks and it's love triangle. The hair and make up seemed much improved in this movie. The vamp make up wasn't nearly as noticeable and KStew looked very pretty for much of the movie. Also, something really needs to be done with Jasper's hair because it is still horrible.

Those parts of the movie were very tongue in cheek... The actors actually talked about how hard it was to keep a Straight face while reciting lines like "face it... I am hotter than you.". Lol I think it's a different experience without reading the books. I can't imagine I'd like these films very much in that case. The face punch was pretty funny though. In the books, they go into deeper detail about the other vamps, their lives before, and their transformations. I wish they would have shown more of it. Really, all the book characters seem very different. Bella is much more nurturing. She cooks for Charlie every night. The movie doesn't show any of that.

Robert Pattinson is 23. If a 40 yr old man wanted a 23 yr old girl.. it wouldn't be a joke.

I think the poster was referring to always shirtless Taylor Lautner... (Who was 17 when Eclipse was filmed.)
Anonymous#1010
I'll agree with you on the Taylor Lautner front. I creep myself out when I think of how attractive he is compared to his age. It's weird. However, the sexism goes both ways. I'm ready to jump right on the Puma wagon when it comes to Rob Pattinson. (who is actually 24) I've dated men younger than that. ;) lol

My 13 yr old nephew just put an Edward bracelet on... then looked at me and said "hey pretty lady"... in his best Elvis voice. LMAO. It was fabulous.

Totally awkward when I was watching the movie drooling over Taylor's abs and then had a quick mental flash of him as sharkboy and it totally ruined the moment, *****.

First off, if there are any ladies reading this, we do not suggest leaving your sex toys out for all to see. Second, if your fake vampire ***** starts "calling out to you in the night," throw it away. Nobody wants a haunted vampire *****. Third, since when is pale white and sparkles considered arousing? Actually, when is the color of a sex toy ever significant...
