Behind the Screen: Tron Legacy

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Did you see the other footage that came out last summer with the extended light cycle sequence...

Tron Legacy

YouTube - Tron : Legacy - Official Trailer I saw this trailer in 3-D last week at the "Alice in Wonderland" press screening and it looked incredible! The audience reaction was huge, too - a giant gasp went through the crowd as it started and there was a massive round of applause after it ended. I'm excited to see this!

I saw this...I can't believe it...but I want to see the movie. I am just a fan of the original and I thought the trailer was great. It is going to be tame, and it is going to be Disney, but it hopefully will be fun. Guess 3D is the only way to go with this type of flick.

Hey B! Did you see the other footage that came out last summer with the extended light cycle sequence? Ahh, I cannot wait! I'm also a fan of the original, despite it being released a few years before I was born :)

This is all I have seen so far, but this is a good place for youtube links if you have them to extended sequences. What I saw was enough to get me interested. Especially because Jeff Bridges is involved in the sequel. It is not a reboot, but rather a true sequel with all the technologies of today. I have no doubt it is going to be amazing and it is creating a lot of buzz.

Ohh yeah, that's the footage I was talking about. I'm hoping we'll get to see the light cycles pop up like in that clip in 3-D as well. I'm also glad to see Bruce Boxleitner returning - and did you notice they made Jeff Bridges younger for when he's playing Clu? :)

This is going to be a legit sequel too. I remember seeing the original in theatres and it was amazing then so this will be outstanding. I think Disney realizes how much of a property this actually is and will treat it with respect. They even brought back Bruce Boxleitner, aka Alan aka Tron himself, to reprise his role.
