Behind the Screen: Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

No, I'm not a fan, tj, but Tori is a close friend of a close friend, so I watch to stay connected. I'm a Yankee fan, but beyond that, it's not a word I use, except maybe also for Italian opera.

It is one of my guilty pleasures! My roomie and I tend to get sucked into marathons of this show and of Flipping Out on Bravo.

I wished I watched the original 90210. She seems so fun. Liam is the cutest little guy and Dean is such a good husband.

I watch it when I get the chance. I didn't know that another season was starting, thanks for the heads up.

Oh I totally watch this show! I was watching last night and thought about getting on vevmo to see if anyone else was! But my husband had the lap top and my lazy butt didn't want to walk upstairs to the other computer.

Did anyone read Deans ex-wife's book?

Poor Dean, does every woman he comes into contact with write books about their life? I honestly don't know much about him, so I am not sure who is ex-wife is or what her book is about (or that there was a book).

I just know that he left his then wife, child, and newborn baby for Tori.

Tori has a good rep in Hollywood as a very hard working, likable person. My hat is off to the editors at the production company. They get how to cut a reality show -- probably how to cut any show. I know it's good when an hour only seemed like 30 minutes.

I always thought she just got a bad rep from the paparazzi because everyone wanted to say that she wouldn't be anyone without her daddy. I have always liked her even though people were/are always ragging on her. When it comes to her marriage to Dean and his ex wife...there is always more to the story that we don't hear and I don't think Dean has ever commented on it at all, so I feel like he is being the bigger person.

I am no where near as experienced as you, but I totally agree. It's so enjoyable to watch and doesn't do the annoying Bachelorette style editing which is half the show being previews for the next segment. Can BMP steal these people- or at least learn from them?

Tori is such a good mom, you can tell she really loves her kids too.

As I watched the show today (TIVO), I kept thinking about the people in school whose film projects I watch and think to myself. "Damn, that's perfect editing." Or, "I wish I'd done that." :( It seems to me to also be built around much of Tori's personality which make me feel comfortable with the flow.

as far as I know Tori claims Candi was a ****** mom who only cared about money and shopping and neglected her kids to the nanny's. And her mom spread her personal business prior to her being on reality TV or something like that. oh, and Candi claims Tori killed her father Aaron.

Da *******???? She sounds crazy.

I never heard that. I thoght the main beef was about Candi not giving Tori her money.

I'm really upset I didn't keep up with the show, I just seen the season finale tonight. Those kids are adorable, Tori and Dean are lucky parents.

Whatever it is, that woman sounds evil.

Team Tori! The show is sweet.

She's really sweet. I just wish her and Dean didn't meet in such a skeevy way.
