I found out the night that that episode aired because other people had pointed it out, so I feel like it's been somewhat common knowledge on Reddit/Twitter/etc but people not on the internet probably have no idea. I never would've even found out had it not been for other people on the internet pointing it out.

Ah ok thanks. In a sense it doesn't matter because they were on different tribes and left at the same point in the game, but I've definitely seen Sandra fans claim she's lasted longer than Parvati on the seasons they did together so this at least disproves that claim (to me the reality is they "lasted" the same amount of time on both seasons, though Parvati did last longer on 40 since she didn't leave the island).

I read her book. I'd like to know his side. I feel like they could have worked through it.

I remember at one point she had a protective order and claimed abuse but she left that out of the book. I wonder if she watered it down since he's dying and she doesn't want her daughter reading that about her dad one day. Cause she really didn't make him sound bad at all in the book.

She's awful for leaving a man she mentioned was abusive to her and her daughter? 

They agreed on split custody so I don't think he was abusive to their daughter.

Some reports mentioned him being abusive to both, but I'm going to assume she was able to distinguish whether or not he posed an actual harm to their daughter if she allowed that.
