Pheobe's season was a snooze. Having a winning tribe handpick a tribe swap was so stupid. Who thought of that? It reminded me of old school Survivor except it's way too many episodes. I watched on 2x speed after Phoebe was eliminated and skipped all the challenges. It's way too much and I hate the editing so I might be done with Australian Survivor.

This is true but he annoys me as a host now. He is way too soft. Everything has to be an emotional moment and he is obsessed with making the cast praise him and the show. I can't deal with his creepy voices when describing things either, it's so uncomfortable.

It's like the edit right after they film the episode. They edit for in the moment story but there's no long-term story editing. Someone will go 7 episodes without a mention and you forget their in the game and then all the sudden they will be the central figure of the episode. Then disappear for three more and return like they are the star of the season.
Australian Survivor actually likes to give us interesting characters and the background stories of some of them like how they use the money or why they need to win. So much better at story telling then US Survivor who under edits their winners.

The characters and gameplay is wayyyy better for sure, but the editing is tragic.
OMG I am dying at how terrible Russell's appearance was. It was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen. Him being so humiliated that he wouldn't even do his final words till the next day was the greatest thing ever. Then seeing that troll have too much pride to admit not using his idol was the right move...lolololol. The BIGGEST loser EVER.

There's lots of sleeping clips in camp. He said that they have toilets which the host confirmed because Samoa has sanitation rules and doesn't want human shit all over their island and in their oceans. He said they had lots of fruit but his tribe won that fruit in a reward. He also claimed Australian Survivor was the reason he wasn't cast for Survivor 40...the all winners season. Just a pure loser.
I'm 18 episodes in and Shonne has been irrelevant. She's basically been invisible 98% of it. I like her but so far I don't understand her popularity. Poor Monika is completely invisible. It's the Benji season and that's it.

I've only seen two seasons of Australian Survivor (season 8 and 10), but both were terrific. I'm really excited for the upcoming Australia v World one, so I hope it's in line with the two I've seen.
