Behind the Screen: So You Think You Can Dance: Season 5

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Tater, my opinion is that Jeanine was the weakest that week, and people rushed to save her, forgetting about Janette. Oh and you brought up camera work, this was the biggest shock to me...

Haha, of course! Janette was awesome! Sadly if she had stayed I would have wanted Jeanine to go that week, so who knows that would have happened! My mom kept yelling "Where are her flowers?!" when Jeanine was talking after she won, she thought it was kind of anticlimactic to just have her there talking without really giving her anything that looked like a prize or do a final dance, haha. I do think there were some problems I noticed with the broadcast, like camera work and lighting that I hope they will iron out for the next finale if they do it in another big venue. Jeanine really did look so happy though, so I hope all the best for her and that this leads to wonderful things in the future!

The camerawork, is done by one man with at least a 50 pound camera attached and he runs around the stage and everything to film. It is intense and major props to the camera guy.

Yup, same here. MAN! Poor guy! It looked liked they had a crane for shots from the back of the stag to the audience, but to run the length of the stage! Ugh. You'd think they could have 2 guys...

In my opinion, Janette would have taken the thing.
