How many here remember the movies Sleepaway Camp? I love this trilogy. I know Nick's (Rocksteady) seen it so Im standing by for his posts.

Sleepaway Camp...hmm...i THINK i've seen it... User image maybe just a few times.... User image =) OK...there are MANY MANY reasons why these movies are A) some of the BEST horror movies ever produced and B) considered to be the first version of "Scream". A parody of sorts for the slasher genre. OH MY GOD. A must must MUST for horror fans. And it's such an unknown gem...its sad. My favorite is 2, then 1, then 3. LOVEEEEEEEEEEE

hahahahahhahahahah When I was putting them up I was like...."ya know...this is only gonna bite me in the *** later..." I wouldve fixed it up...but im lazy (and am going to go play Wii now haha) LATERRRR I'll come back later to GUSH about the Sleepaway Camp films more. Even if its only to myself.

I haven't finished watching Part 1 but I say that and 3 are the best so far. Part 2 I didn't really like. And its Renaldo lol

we don't carry the movie down here anymore. I remember when I first heard of Sleepaway Camp in 1995. I went to rent Halloween 4-5 at a Schunucks (ever heard of that store?) and they had some rare videos like V, Baywatch movies and Sleepaway Camp. I wish I would've picked those up because their really good but I was like 12 years old. I didn't know any better. lol

It can be ordered anywhere online. The Survival Kit (containing the entire trilogy) can be found on amazon (27ish dollars) here, while the movies can also be rented separately from Netflix.

Alright, I saw the trailer, but it didn't answer my primary question: Is there any gratuitous nudity as with many films in the genre of that time period? Bandit...i beg you to watch (rewatch?) the sequels. 2 is called "Unhappy Campers" and 3 is "Teenage Wasteland" Pamela Springsteen NAILS Angela with her deadpan yet corny sarcasm and witty one-liners. PERFECTIONNNNNNNN i can't wait to rewatch these. renaldo...you WIN for creating this thread!
