Behind the Screen: The Ruins: The Sh!t They Should Have Shown

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

this special is SUCH a hit on here...

Oh my... this special is SUCH a hit on here. Anyway, I am actually enjoying this. "You dirty Canadian you like that ****." - Katie.

Katie definitely missed states!

"Is that Sarah Making Out With Tonya?" LMAO. Too Funny!

So when a guy injures another guy's "parts," he has to put a bandaid on it? Is that some sort of man-law?
saltvinegar#6
"he's got a huge nose and you're not that ******* hot" Katie is the princess(Coral is still queen)
TheQuietOne#7
I'm going to assume everyone forgot tonight lol
Moni61#8

I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't watch any of the dailies, Katie was funny.

Yeah I think that I enjoyed it so much because I didn't really watch many of the dailies. Was a lot of it stuff that they had on the dailies sight?

I think every single thing on there was on the dailies, which wasn't the case for the Duel 2, and thats probably why it was so boring to me.

Katie is awesome, she needs to be on those E! specials as a commentator. Evan I actually even found pretty funny. I wish Syrus, Veronica, & Ibis would have commentated but I didn't even remember seeing Syrus or Ibis on the special except during one of the Tonya segments Ibis was shown for a second.

This is going to get slaughtered ratings wise, once again, no promotion. They should have shown it after the last episode or after the reunion like the last two seasons they did this.

Suck Yeah doesn't suck. The show didn't either. Katie was entertaining.. and for a change, I quite enjoyed KA. Sometimes it's fun to see a little more of what they are doing in their free time that doesn't involve punching or lying.

I wanna know what the background song/music was during the Kenny/Sarah bit, like when he was giving her a massage and stuff...hah

I apologize in advance for anyone annoyed but the only comment I have on this special is a superficial one. As vapid as she is, Casey looked really great, from the hair to the makeup to the *****. I think the hair and makeup on the other girls made them look older/rougher(ouch!)

Oh, this was on last night? Oops. Looks like I didn't miss much anyway.
Cait3223#21
I enjoyed it a lot! But after reading this I guess its because I stopped watching the Dailies about 1/4 of the way through. Hahaha.."When I'm sleeping my eyelids aren't closed enough"- Evan on JOhnny. That was actually prettttty funny.

I thought it was funny Susie was bragging about never having worked out during the challenge. I guess she thinks its pretty cool she had to get carried on the final mission by her team.
bsteve#23
I thought it was just ok! It was obvious they used only a couple of the people @ the reunion to add some commentary. What about the rest of the cast adding something to it? My goodness it was an hour long of 6 or 7 people yapping about themselves!! There was 28 people on the challenge!!!!!!
El Rey#24
I enjoyed last nights show. Everyone was actually pretty funny even *gasp* Evan, Kenny and Johnny!

If you watch one of the boys vs. girls dailies and you pause at a certain time you can read a lot of Dunbar's list, its actually hilarious. one of them is "paula walnuts."
jr588#26
I thought this was pretty funny...much better than the reunion special.
Xeri99#27
There was lots of really funny stuff, definitely worth watching. I've never watched the dailies, btw. Seems like this might be a "best of the dailies" compilation.

I cannot believe Kenny called someone a ******! COME ON! What a horrible representation from New Jersey. I can't believe these people are using derogatory words on national television. It's one thing to say them in private, but to say it and not feel remorse? I'm disgusted.

So I was watching this again and I guess it was kind of funny, lol at the cast getting pissed off by Kenny and Evan's "we got a clue" antics. The funniest part of the whole show was them popping out of the laundry bags...OMFG. My sister walked in the room and she was dying, I would most likely get sick of that too though.
blanky667#30
LOL. I like the way how they over exaggerate over the clues. I agree, tj. The laundry bags were hilarious.

They've been doing the exaggeration on the "we got a clue" for a long time now. I wonder why this cast in particular was getting angry.
