His hair is receeding... It happens! It can start from anywhere as young as 18. Since I am around his current age and some of my friends are either balding or their hair is receeding, I am used to it, and he looks his age, to me.

I don't hate him I'm just pointing out his hair ordeal that's all. And I honestly thought that you start balding in your 40's I didn't know it could start happening when your young.

I sit next to a guy at work who is 25 and is balding.

Derrick wants to do another Challenge. I asked him on Twitter about it and he said yes. I wonder if he'll be doing Fresh Meat 2.

Derrick is one castmember I never get tired of seeing, unlike Johnny, Danny and Paula. Hope he returns.

Derrick now that's someone who is actually their for the game he always plays his cards right and avoids the DRAMA.

I agree Rey, glad he stays under the radar, because I think some people go there to purposely start drama.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that video of him.

I don't understand why people don't like him. I understand that he's been doing the challenges for a really long time and maybe should start thinking about taking care of his family but personal life aside, I don't know why people hate him. Is it because he's friends with the big alliance? I mean, if you watch every challenge he's been on, he gets along with almost everyone, except Beth, he's never mean to anyone, he competes hard, and wins (missions, elimination rounds except the end ones, and now challenges). He may be on the Bad *** team because he's a bad *** but in no way is he a bad guy.

I guess it's just people who despise JEK and love Wes because Derrick is friends with JEK. I just notice more Derrick hate then I thought there was.

A prime example of him playing the game right is on the Ruins when he they were waiting for him to cast his vote as to which girl was to go in the Ruins he voted for Ibis to go in. He did not let any outside friendship even jeopardize his spot in the game. I know he felt really bad about it but on the challenges you have NO friends only alliances.

I know Kenny has an excellent social game but I think Derrick has one of the best social games, better then Evan's and Kenny's. He is in their alliance so they keep him safe but at the same time he doesn't make others mad. He's friends with everyone and is actually nice. And being a really great competitor doesn't hurt either.

Totally, he's a great example of how you can vote against your friends, and vote strategically to help yourself and/or your alliance but without being a total *** about it. He's not stabbing people in the back OR being ********* to their faces. He's just playing the game.

That seems to be the trend these days, people hating him because he does whats best for him.

I still like Derrick (not as much as I used to), but I was happy when Veronica called him out for being a coward on the Ruins.

Derrick is the man !!
