Behind the Screen: Real World: St Thomas - Trey Weatherholtz

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

He just needs someone to make him look stupid on the show like Leroy did for Adam but Zach failed to do with Frank...

I agree with that. However, I think there is a small chance that there might be a story about growth and change. I know my expectation in that direction will probably be disappointed, but it is there :)

Trey is a very common nickname for people with the title III. I don't see how you can disagree with it. Here are some wikipedia examples for you. Just check the birth names. Haha you're quicker than I am then. This entire time I was thinking "well that has to be some sort of odd coincidence, right?" I can't believe I never put that together.

Awww come on B, you know you'll watch it anyway. Maybe just to see if this guy manages to open his mouth at the wrong time and loses some teeth for it.

Was trying to scroll through his twitter to find that little diatribe and gave up halfway through cause he tweets too damn much, but on my way I saw a rant about gay guys too. I wonder if this kid will make it through with all of his teeth.

I somehow hope that maybe this was just his angle to make sure he got cast on the show. Sort of a Lewis Black type deal.

You're definitely going to suffocate holding your breath for that long.

Maybe but it is unlikely he had a college football career and didn't encounter a few opinionated blacks as well who could have kicked his teeth in had he been like that 24/7. Strange MTV let them keep their twitter open to the public.

True. Ryan is probz my least favorite cast member in history.

He is not racist nor ignorant to different races, and if you do your research, Frostburg is very diverse...as well as the part of Baltimore he is from....if he was going to get his "teeth kicked it" it would have happened by now.

And? There's a lot of racists and ignorant people that live in a diverse environment but still choose to be that way and drop racial undertones even if they have what they call 'friends' outside of their race. But anyway, do you have any relation to Trey?

I haven't read this whole thread yet, but if his twitter has been hacked and this is really him, then, well....this season is going to get real interesting.

and if you had done your research by actually reading the thread with some comprehension, I am the only one trying to give him the benefit of the doubt so please don't mix me up in the torch and pitchfork crowd I seem to get dragged into whenever these conversations take place.

When did this RW begin filming? If he tweeted that in January.

Well, hello handsome. <3 Edit: I just read that racist rant. I now retract my previous comment. :/
IKR!!! I was thinking the same at the first page (he is good looking), then by the screen shot of his twitter rant, I was like... Ugh... not cool dude. Wonder if he really feels that way or he is doing it for attention and publicity.

Can't we just get off his name now? P.S- I didn't know just because someone was a certain race, they shouldn't have certain names... when was THAT law passed? ;)

I believe circa the time the Cast Spottings post was originally posted

It's not a law but it does exist.
frostburger#55
yes, I know him.
baltimore410#56
Oh Trey...can't wait to see you on this show. Don't take this all so seriously, Trey was class clown after all. He has a loving heart toward everyone but LOVES attention and stirring up ways to get it.

In people's minds, mostly yes. But isn't it a bit unfair to think every "Trey" or almost every one should be of a certain race? I guess that thinking could also depend on where you are from exactly (in terms of country or state), it might be more unusual or familiar, but at the end, there are really no boundaries for names to races. I also never knew Trey was a nickname for the third generation people. That is pretty cool. :)

I agree to some extent i was too quick to judge that it sounded like a black name, which was simply based on my experience. However, if his name was De'Andre or Jamarcus...

After an Alabama fan was arrested for dropping his balls on an LSU fan, he should probably take down that "*** in face" video. Oh, to be young and stupid...
kdr123#61
He is not racist, he is just young and immature.
