Behind the Screen: The Real World: St. Thomas - Should I stay or Should I

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Thanks, MTV, for putting the two major storylines of the season in one episode that falls on the same night as the NFL season opener involving the Cowboys, one of the most popular teams in the NFL, and the defending Super Bowl champions. Great choice. I'm sure the ratings will go through the roof.

This season had almost no chance of succeeding based on how they scheduled it.

This season was a snoozefest. Scheduling doesn't help but it's not what killed it. Marie is really the only interesting one of the bunch. She may be a ***** but she's at least fun to watch. This is random...but imagine Marie on a Vegas season...holy Lord.

Can't forget about the large population of Real World fans that love politics.

I doubt the DNC will hit the core audience. However, it is another big event that will draw away some fans. As you stated earlier, the scheduling this season was horrific. They must have known from the dailies that they had a dud.

This season really was doomed from the get go. The time in which it aired, the location the show was shot at, every single cast member for the most part being very serious and not having anyone that is funny. Doomed.

So hold on a second That whole "6 months of sobriety from drugs" pin was actually gotten on false pretenses?
Dash_Vegas#11
Jager?!?! What kind of addict are you Brandon?! Lol Trey "Wow, here we go?!?!" Lol this dude
Bacchus#12

Best part of this episode so far: Trishelle!
TwoStrikes#15
They flat out showed Cara Maria in the challenge trailer. So I guess we know Fresh Meat is part of the season too.... Somehow?
Legend#16
As predicted, this is looking to be that climax point of the season. And Trey's still being Trey.

Was this the first drug test they did on them?
Nightwolf#18
That's 2 episodes in a row with a 15 second scene that serves no purpose other than to advertise Subway

I don't think so.

Someone has to pay the bills.

Well yeah but at least in other seasons they showed them at Subway, or something that was at least sort of relevant like when Dustin came back from Subway to find Cooke and Naomi all blue and freaking out, not just like "Hey we want Subway! Ooh here's a big picture of the sandwiches!"

Watching RN and I'm really trying to pay attention this time cause I'm actually interested in Brandon's storyline for once and I want to see Laura vs Chelsea. What should be the most interesting story episode of the season so far, and no one even knows/cares about it....

That Latoya and Marie segment had me LOL the whole time and the burping haha

Haha. Cheating Trey does not think it is as serious as he thought it was...

Well to be fair, it really does look like that Chelsea at one point had a fetus inside of her.
joshboxx#26
She had burn marks. That's why she was wearing a sleeve and then you could see the burn when she was rubbing her face. Could that have had something to do with it? idk...

Are you saying that she is/was pregnant? Oh god I hope not. :sadwalk:

This secretive **** Trey has going on... I felt like I was watching the Hills during Trey/Chelsea segment. It's like he left one show to go film on another.

Yea..I believe she was pregnant. Neither one of them has been very direct about it. They seem to be dancing around the subject that it can be tough to follow.

Damn, LaToya and Marie weren't lying, this season is getting pretty damn interesting.
Dash_Vegas#31
This season could've used more of Brandon's Dad. Swift is so annoying. Worst casting decision this season.
