Behind the Screen: The Real World: St. Thomas - Roommates Become Bedmates

The reality TV landscape has never been more crowded or more diverse. From dating shows to competition series to docusoaps, networks and streamers are betting big on unscripted content.

What sets the great shows apart is their ability to create genuine moments — the kind of unscripted drama that no writer's room could manufacture. That's what keeps fans coming back.

Wish they'd cast a dude like Denver Alex again. Dude gave no F**** about Colie and Jenn...

In theory, Laura would have a General American Accent. Although, during the hunt a female predator can at times assume the accent of her intended prey...

The lack of a lot of confessional/interview footage of people talking ****/commenting about the others is missing this season.

I was disappointed to not be able to watch Laura stalk Trey tonight, but honestly, I am over it. I met this cool chick at the bar (the one on the right) and she says she doesn't care about the missing Viacom channels and would be more than happy to come over and watch whatever I have...

Apparently Trey has a big ***** and Laura was also good, I kind of missed what she was talking about

That stupid little line where the box usually is on the bottom right of the screen annoys me

Robb just broke the phone. I'm not sure what happened though, can someone fill me in?
Dash_Vegas#45

He called his "girl" back home and she slept with another dude because she thought he had done the same thing. He gets mad and smashes the phone against his head.

Another odd dynamic this season--no endless pool table conversations

Anything happen in the last few minutes of note?

+1. Trey and Laura: Annoying. Both seem kinda unintelligent (or maybe they just dumb themselves down for each other). Robb and Marie: Cute. Real people, real personalities and no weird clingy stalker games. Still, Latoya is the coolest one in the whole cast. She hangs out with everyone, she's hilarious, and she's not tryin to holla at a roommate. She wins.

I wasn't even able to watch tonight. Trey and Laura were still annoying (they did block me on twitter for some random reason.) Time to move the story on...

Marie and Robb are adorable together. Laura is annoying and way too clingy. They need to stop focusing so much on the couples.

I agree. I actually don't mind Trey or Laura, but something about their relationship feels way more Real World showmance. Whereas Robb and Marie seem to just be naturally clicking. I enjoy their dynamic much more. It probably helps that separately I prefer Robb and Marie to Trey and Laura. Without knowing anything about what happens later in the season or post-season, I won't be surprised if Robb and Marie actually blossom into something real later on down the line. Latoya continues to be the star for me though. Brandon has like 4 lines this entire episode and still manages to slip in "I'm competing with these other dudes!!" Blah. Overall, kind of a boring episode but I really do like the cast.

I mean I like both Trey and Laura individually but together they suck the main thing that annoys me is how Laura acts around Trey treating him like he's God's gift by grooming him and laughing at everything he does or says. I can't quite put my finger on it but their Showmance reminds me of another one I just can't think who's and I've seen alot of reality shows in my lifetime.
