Behind the Screen: The Real World: Portland - I Wanted Romance Not No Pant

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

That was so staged.

I think she'd still be decent, at least. She just won't be anything big or complete a final, unless she stops the drinking/smoking.

Do they censor nudity with those blue birds as a not so subtle way to say.... "Tweet about this!"
Nostalgic#37
Damn Averey and Jess are starting to annoy me.
Calinks#38
So this is going to be one of THOSE relationships.

Oh, please.
Calinks#40
Yea, I'll just show you some nude pics of my girl, she wont mind!

Dingo is bringing some glam with his beautiful beach waves...not even kidding!

This episode is just getting weirder by the second.
Calinks#43
Nia just summoned Alton!
Bacchus#44
Johnny, sorry bro - time for a cold shower and some coffee.
wutzrenzi#45
"someone love me..." *translates to* "someone **** me"? *scratches head* I actually enjoy Johnny temper for some reason.

Thank you :applause: I went back and gave you the props you deserved hehe
Calinks#47
I'll translate what Jess is saying right now. "The guy is just too nice." lol
Bacchus#48
Jess...you know you can get married and still join a book club. Heck, if you do get married the book club might be the highlight of your week in 10 or 15 years.
Bacchus#49
Way to ease into the conversation Averey, lol.
wutzrenzi#50
Speaking of JS... I sense a Sammie and Roonie moment coming from Johnny and Averey.
Camille#51
at least Avery has proof right there that she didn't say that. Johnny can watch the episode now and feel a little stupid.

She is just weird, like Tyler is a good guy, she is still stuck on her ex, plain and simple.

Oh god....please don't let it be like that.

I'm cringing already, but I can see it.
Fresh Meat#55
LOL
Camille#56
Avery seems a lot more mature than Sammi and less jealous. That make a big difference. Johnny seems kind of Ronnie-like when drunk though. lol.
Bacchus#57
The bed is open for business!
wutzrenzi#58
Grantland needs to give Johnny his full 30 points for three ***** in one episode.
Fresh Meat#59
Sooo hopefully ratings continued to increase. Next week should definitely see another ratings rise with Nia/Jordan drama.

I'm still loving the Averey/Johnny coupling. Even in they're fighting, I just find them so likeable for some reason. And funny. Also, I know Nia said she doesn't regret what she did to Jordan, but quite frankly if anybody "won" that situation, it was him. And her constantly bringing it up didn't make her look any better. Jessica is so annoying. She also comes off as incredibly fake.

I agree. A lot of people get annoyed by couples fighting on these shows, but I like this couple. Johnny seems like a genuinely good guy who really loves her and Avery seems so real and down to earth and honest. I really get fake vibes from Jessica.I like Paul Bunyan, but I didn't care about Jess's storyline this episode. I can't wait for Nia and Jordan drama though. Match made in hell! Anastasia is right, they are like a bomb waiting to explode together. lol.
