They could've been a little better with showing who leaves next week. They showed the 3 girls who stay giving their reaction to Nia so if you have any common scene, you can figure it out.

Marlon: Hey Jordan! Jordan: Yeah, baby? Marlon: Baby? Jordan: I don't know why I just said that. I'm turning gay! I'm turning gay!

This was a interesting episode. So far this season is pretty good. As for Marlon... not surprised. During the first episode it seemed like he was trying to overcompensate or prove something which more than anything was annoying because it was so obvious but I respect him for being so honest. I know everyone dislikes Jordan but he seems ok so far, he reminds me of the guys I went to HS with.

Really liked this episode! Someone leaves!?!? I'm excited for next week...I stayed spolier free...I'm glad I'm watching this season. Averey is my favorite so far.

Hate to say it, but this episode was so boring. I resorted to playing 'spot the dog'. I swear Daisy is in the background of at least 70% of scenes, that pooch loves the camera. As for Marlon, he is clearly confused. I am open minded but something isn't right there (re: never having a gf), maybe he is asexual and just doesn't realize it.

Just because Marlon never been in a serious relationship doesnt make him gay, some mens just aren't a relationship type a person

Says he's straight + has never had a proper girlfriend + has had sex with a man, these together are nothing but red flags, for a confused person. I actually just rewatched the scene and he says hes ******** (not straight as the advocate article said), which makes a lot more sense.

If Johnny says paw one more time... Red flag: "I don't have friends back home" Jessica, please. Jordan was not abused. I died at Marlon clowning Jessica over her poetry. DIED. Not saying that it was bad, but why, if she usually keeps it private, did she go print copies and give them to her roommates? She screams attention-*****. Jordan would be obnoxious to live with, can't stand people who are overly sarcastic and always need too be right. But I don't live with him so I find him calling Anastasia and Jessica out hilarious. They're drama queens, they need someone to keep them grounded. The way Marlon explained why he had sex with a man still didn't make sense to me, but if it makes sense to him, that's all that matters. And I really love how comfortable he was with it. Joi and Averey are too mature for the house.

Jordan -- What was BMP thinking? This is not someone I will love to hate, irrespective of the edit. He seems to have little respect for women.

I don't LOVE anyone yet, but I do like Averey, Johnny, and Bird. I'm actually quite surprised to see so many people hating on Anastasia. I think she's totally spot-on with what she says, especially in regards to Jordan!

I too had to watch again to catch that. He did mention he was ******** but it was still a bunch of bull the way he was explaining why he had sex with another man. Just ridiculous excuses... there shouldn't be an excuse at all if you're really comfortable with yourself. I liked how he went straight to the point but he should have planned that out right because it was awkward.

Enjoyed last night's episode. This cast is a breath of fresh air and I am loving it.

Frank wasn't that bad, he just whined a lot and was far from entertaining. He was worse on the Challenge. This guy is a less *****y version of Frank.

Anastasia is annoying that's why. Her and Jordan are both arguementative. Everyone else in the house seems relaxed and chill except those two. I think Jessica is gorgeous, I think she has this girl next door southern look, wow...

Jordan really reminds me of Trey the more I think about it...

I actually like her too...I thought she was in the right when she was arguing with them...thought she took it a little far until Jordan spilled her drink, but I like her. This cast in general I actually really like.

I loved this episode. Favorites thus far - Marlon, Johnny, Averey Okay - Joi, Jordan, Anastasia Dislike - Jessica

Favorites: Averey,Johnny and Joi Like: Jordan and Bird Dislike: Jessica and Marlon I don't think Jordan likes to pick fights with women it just that Jess and Bird bring that side out of him more than Johnny and Marlon (Who are all like The female roommates in Las Vegas before Cooke came in)cpuld or would. Edot next week the beginning of Jordan Vs Marlon in house fued lol.

I so far I find this season pretty entertaining, my thoughts on this cast so far, I'll try and be brief as I'm at work tehe Averey: Although smokin hot, I dislike this girl. She seems like a liar. "I don't have any family aside from Daisy". This was a major selling point for me on her, until episode 2 when she's talking to her grandma -___-. Then she's all "WOW Johnny you didnt try to sleep with me last night", he was sober, please don't be too impressed. Then she's all "I'm really guarded, ESPECIALLY with guys, they'll do ANYTHING to get in your pants", sleeps with Johnny -__-. I guess she just comes off as extremely fake to me. It's fine if your the partying hooters girl, go nuts, but don't lie about it and exaggerate your life please. Jessica: A lot like Averey in I think she's a good looking girl, but I agree with Jordan that she looooooves drama. I'm sure she has at least one friend aside from her mom back home. No one that is as active as her with her sports bikes, etc. should be hard pressed to find friends. I know your mom didn't tape you for your home video. And like someone else said, why print several copies of your poem for your roommates if you normally are so reserved about sharing your poetry? Annoying, but I do like her accent a lot. Bird: Also good looking, I'm indifferent on her so far. While I think her freaking out over the butt contest was odd/weird, it came off genuine to me. Same with her freaking out about the way the guys treated the grenades, I thought her rant in the confessional about her argument with Johnny came off corny and nerdy, but again sincere. As if even in real life she comes off non threatening when she's upset, so major points for her for that. My only real complaint is that a lot like how I feel with Nate/Zack (SD2), and Robb/Trey (STT) she seems almost redundant amongst the other girls except she has a BF. Joi: My favorite of the girls, like her a crap ton, sucks I won't get to see much of her this season :(. Agreed with someone else that she might be too mature for the other roommates, or maybe the show in general. I want to see more of this girl, gotta hold out hope that she at least does a challenge. Johnny: Thought this kid would bug me, but surprisingly he seems like the most down to earth so far. Big props to him for bagging Averey. Not much else to say. He seems like he's being himself. Jordan: Possibly my favorite roommate so far, he says a lot of what I'm thinking so that's cool. Feel like he is legitimate in his behavior/actions and is only disliked because he really does not care, and he enjoys trolling people for fun. It seems like he realizes the roommates are easy targets and is going with it. Not sure why everyone is so pissed at him next week, seems like he's just partying and wasted. Marlon: Thought I would dislike him too, 1st episode he was cool, then after the 2nd I'm on the fence. I sort of get his reasoning for the gay sex thing but it was still an awkward delivery on his part. Seemed like the kind of thing the producers were like "BE SURE TO DROP THIS BOMB BY EPISODE/WEEK/DAY 2 OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES"... Almost like he was contractually obligated to bring it up which I didn't like. Of everyone there I think he is the most conscious of the cameras and 'being on TV' so its hard to gauge who this dude is. Nia: Do not like. I feel like she's a prime example of what's wrong with this age demo (which I fall into, not a chick tho). Beautiful girl who feels she deserves to get by on that and being loud and *****y without having any real commendable talent outside of taking selfies. Loves to claim being "real". It's odd too because had she not decided to attack Averey and Jordan too I think, I couldve seen myself really liking her. Instead she's all "I'm Hurricane Nia fear my wrath". Have a seat. And I can't help but feel like she's mispronouncing her own name. Being the "savior" for this season is exactly what I think she was hoping for, even though as it stands this season doesn't need saving in my opinion. Best since LV2 so far.

I'm not intelligent, experienced, or tactful enough to respectfully answer those questions. I know that. However, I also know that Marlon Williams's confession in this week's episode of Real World: Portland was the first time in a long time that I really felt like I was watching seven strangers, picked to live in a house, having their lives taped, and getting ******* REAL. There is none realer than Marlon Williams. Allow me to explain. Marlon Williams is an African American, a son of a preacher, a linebacker, and a rapper. He is an outspoken alpha-male type in the mold of Leroy from the most recent Vegasseason. Like Leroy, Marlon goes out at night with intentions of coming home with a young lady on his arm. He is likable, relatable, and seemingly wise beyond his years. He proved the latter during a casual conversation on the balcony with his roommates: Averey: "I'm a bartender, obviously we know this, we were talking about **** sex, so who's tried it ...?" Anastasia: "Who has tried it?" Marlon: "I have tried it" Anastasia: "Were you wrapped when you did it?" Marlon: "Yeah. But mine was a guy, though. [Shocked silence] Let it get silent, let it get silent ... it was a dude." This was unexpected. Unexpected because our lives have conditioned us to categorize men as "gay" or "straight" based on assumptions. One would assume that a rapping, skirt-chasing, linebacking son of a preacher with the aesthetics and mannerisms of Marlon would not have a gay sexual experience. Marlon was not only unashamed, he owned it. Check how casual he is as he redefines modern masculinity: Marlon is living his life, and Marlon doesn't give a **** what you think. Marlon doesn't have to offer up this information, and when he says, "Let it get silent, let it get silent ..." he recognizes that his roommates will be shocked with his revelation and also subtly notes that they are mature enough to handle what he just told them. He breaks their stunned silence by explaining that during a difficult period in his life, when he felt like there was no one to turn to, he was accepted by the gay community. He even goes so far as to note how clichéd it was that the man he slept with was a male cheerleader and he a star linebacker. Marlon understands who he is, understands how he'll be perceived, and knows what he was doing. In those three minutes of cable television, Marlon stopped being polite and got real. Cognizant of the cameras, he opened up and shared something with his roommates and the audience that most people would not have. Marlon doesn't have an agenda. He isn't trying to advance a cause or change the world; he's just unabashedly sharing his experience, and for that, he gets GRTFL points. All of them. Johnny (Real World, Jacoby), 45 points: If the the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, on reality TV the way to a woman's heart is through the annoying little dog she's obsessed with. Johnny knows this. The second that the way-too-attractive-for-him Averey entered the house, he immediately started going straight Caesar the Dog Whisperer on her pooch, Daisy. Next thing you know, he's making out with her in the club. After a couple of ************* sessions and some snuggling in the sheets with the dog ... ... before long, he was between the sheets with the way-too-attractive-for-him Averey. However, when he climbed into the way-too-attractive-for-him Averey's bed, she was naked and announced, "Just don't cuddle me right now." He did not. Not only does Johnny know that the way into her bed is to go through the dog, he knows that the way into her pants is to act like you don't want to get into her pants. Clearly, this non-cuddle was some sort of a test because, before long, Johnny the M******* and Averey the Hooters waitress were both naked and coitusing (20 + 25 = 45 points). I'm interested in seeing how this relationship progresses. They're clearly headed for some sort of exclusive thing, but methinks that this one will be more Ace/Mallory than Judd/Pam. There's something in women that won't let them stay with the nice guy that will obsess over their stupid dog just to get their attention. It isn't fair, Johnny; it's just the way it is. Sorry, buddy, I don't look forward to the inevitable night when all the roommates go out to the club, and Averey gets a little too close to some dude with a neck tattoo. The chances of this happening are somewhere between 100 and 1,000 percent. Averey (Real World, Lisanti), 20 points: Johnny is a lucky fella. He got in with the dog, got in the bed and past the "don't try to snuggle me" test, and eventually, ya know, got in (25 points). Not only that, Averey later confessed, "I am a very sexual person, and if I am feeling someone, I have trouble controlling my urges." She isn't kidding. On the "next time on," it looks like Averey and Johnny sneak into a bar bathroom IN THE MIDDLE OF A JOB INTERVIEW. I'm telling you, this is going to be a good season. Jordan and Anastasia (Real World, Jacoby and Simmons), 5 points: Jordan and Anastasia's dumb fight (5 points) about what constitutes middle class in America was so idiotic that writing about it would only discredit what Marlon Williams achieved. I really hope Marlon spends the rest of the season bedding women and unintentionally sending a message to the nation that there is no answer to the question "What is gay?"

Did Joi have one single interview or scene at all in this episode? Also, I definitively look forward to seeing Jordan on a challenge. I could see him and Frank getting into it cause they both seem to not know when to shut up.

So far I love Johnny. I think that might change once all of the alleged racism comes out. Ana seems extra Joi seems extra Jessica is annoying Averey is cool, but a bit boring Marlon is cool. He reminds me of Leroy with his chill attitude I love Jordan. I feel like Marlon was cast just because of that secret. He doesn't fit the gay stereotypes, so it was the shows way if shocking people and showing diversity. They dud the same thing with casting the masculine Karamo on the Philly season. Jordan seems to look for fights vecause he wants to show off what he knows. I can't wait to see him and Nia's drama. I love Johnny and Avery. Their blossoming romance is actually sweet because she's so worried that he will be the hit it and quit it type and he is smart to use the dog as an in.
