Behind the Screen: Real World: New Orleans - Episode 7

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Up until episode 6, we hardly had seen anything of Sahar. I'm glad they've fixed that now...

Definitely. Although Brooklyn was very fair with the exception of Baya

Up until episode 6, we hardly had seen anything of Sahar. I'm glad they've fixed that now. All we need is for Eric to get a lot of airtime over the next few episodes.

A roommate staying faithful to their relationship back home, and then getting cheated on. How often has that happened? Usually it's the one on the show to ruin it or end it.

He has good one liners, at the same time he goes too far.
If we're talking about Knight I'm with you. Especially how he was talking and acting around Jemmye's mom. Also, looks like there's only two more airings of this episode. There's a repeat tonight at 12/11 CST then another Saturday at 6am/5 CST.

Exactly.

Knight is my favorite this season, but he came off as a complete jerk in this episode. I love how he is always joking around with everyone and I liked the way that he and Jemmye's mom got along. But I think he just needs to realize that there are lines that you can't cross with people. When he and Sahar were going back and forth she didn't seemed bothered by anything he said until he brought up her boyfriend. I wish that Jemmye stood up for herself if Knight's comments really bothered her but I can see why it would be hard for her. I also realize that Knight is only joking but some of the things he says shouldn't be said. He really does seem like a sweet guy under all the jokes. Great episode. I was really annoyed with how Ryan didn't want to go work on the house though. Everyone else at least tried it. I just wish they would show some more of Eric!

Based off of teasers shown, I believe Eric and Ryan get into a bit of a scuffle - leading to a blow up between the two. Maybe that is when the show will be Eric-centric.

I thought the same thing but I think Ryan was just intervening between Eric and someone else they didn't show. I have to watch the new preview again.

To be honest, it looked like McKenzie and Knight were the only ones trying. Every time they would show Jemmye, she would just be standing around, same with Eric. And Preston was just scared of the tools, which I lol'd at everytime he mentioned it. I would do what Ryan was doing, doesn't mean he's selfish.

It's okay for her to kiss Eric multiple times, but when Pablo kisses a girl, she's devastated?
Old Friend#41
Well, why shouldn't she be? I mean other than liking Eric she thought she had a good thing back home and obviously wanted to continue it. But we know that never happens.

The preview on mtv.com for next week's episode makes me feel so sad for Jemmye :blue:

I liked Sahar this episode. It was about time someone called out the fat, annoying kid on his crap. What a complete *********. Ashley is the best. Her little observations are so right on.

People are way to sensitive in this house this season. Knight is hysterical!

Agreed, but just wait for it, you're going to get bashed.

I agree, but then again- Knight CAN be an irritating little pr|ck when he wants to be. But hey, can't we all? :p
