Behind the Screen: Real World: New Orleans - Episode 3

The reality TV landscape has never been more crowded or more diverse. From dating shows to competition series to docusoaps, networks and streamers are betting big on unscripted content.

What sets the great shows apart is their ability to create genuine moments — the kind of unscripted drama that no writer's room could manufacture. That's what keeps fans coming back.

Well, I'm sure she makes a cucumber sandwich with it or something. I swear that is what it said in my TV Guide...heh.

I'd love to know what Jemmye's "new school" way of thinking is...

"Casual sex is like binge eating--it's good at the moment, but then you feel bad about yourself afterward." SO true.

I'm not advocating casual sex, but you only feel bad about it if you have been brought up in an environment where you are repetitively told it is bad (or you do something stupid like black out and have sex.) It is about societal norms. If you have safe sex and know what you are doing (i.e. are not tanked) there is nothing wrong with two adults consenting to a night of lust. Just my random thoughts... Now back to your regularly scheduled programming, with Mackenzie giving the closing eulogy on morality, because obviously she is a "good" girl.

Is it convenient that Ryan keeps calling her "Suzie" when McKenzie has repeatedly called her "Suze"? He doesn't even know her name...
feminthea#12
So McKenzie is at this point actually interested in Ryan? So bizarre.
bayday#13
I LOVE JEMMYE!!!!!!! She's my favorite. McKenzie is the hottest one, but Jemmye is my FAVORITE!!!!

Ryan's face when Jemmye was crying was hilarious/perfect.

LMAO @ Ryan's expression when he realized Jemmye was crying over Knight.

OMG LMAO @ this episode :laugh3:

Oh my god, if my daughter ever called me at 4am ****faced and crying, I'd be pissed. I'd at least stay on the phone to make sure she's not dying and in pain or in jail, but good lord...

This episode is pretty good actually. It's funny as hell.

Suze is probably a nickname, and short for Suzie. Love this episode - so many hookups, which have been so few in the past real world seasons. Jemmye is hilariously pathetic when drunk...love her, but love to laugh at her too.
Wilderwolf#21
I cannot stop laughing during this episode. Jemmye is freaking hilarious, and I actually like Ryan this episode.

I love how the music is almost always so apropos for the scenarios :on_the_quiet2:

I find myself laughing at Jemmye a hell of a lot more than I find myself laughing with her...

Exactly! Gotta love it :D

Ew, Ryan :yucky: Preston >>> Ryan
wutzrenzi#26
Jemmye: "asdfghjkl; *** *** **** ****" (***?) Mom: "...I'm hanging up..." Jemmye: "Okay, Good night." (English) lmao.
Anonymous#27
That was kinda funny, though :p

HAHAHAHAH omg right? gotta love it :p
wutzrenzi#28
Ryan wants Preston. Never seen a straight guy so concern with what a gay guy is doing in his bed.

Low move by McKenzie's friend. How do you not even say goodbye to your friend who you came to see in the first place?
Wilderwolf#30
Yeah really, I'd be super pissed at her. Suze should have just talked to McKenzie and told her that she liked Ryan and that she shouldn't worry about her.
icubaby#31
I wouldn't say bye to my friend if she kept trying to send me home either "for my own good." I like my friends because they're not my parents.
