Behind the Screen: Real World Las Vegas 2: Leaving Las Vegas

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

The preview on MTV says "Tragedy" and then shows Leroy crying. I'm wondering what that could be and why they didn't mention this at all until this point...

Why do I always forget that this is on...

Why do I always forget that this is on? Oh well... Social life > Real World

Well this season flew by. I hope next one is more of serious one. Although I guess this season was okay, I liked the past seasons must better (Yes, even Cancun)

Is anyone glad that the stupidity will be over after tonight? The season has been quite good, compared to the most recent ones, but I am officially ready for it to be over.

Yeah but I'm not really in the mood for a challenge. I want another RW season!

I'm ready for this to be done. Challenges are awesome! I wish they would do as many as they can, i hope it gets renewed. What happened with that girl Mike was seeing?

Been there a few weeks already. I loved the first half of the season, but as always happens, the editors got so wrapped up in a single couple that most of the other potential good character stories got skimmed over or tossed to the curb. So sick of Dustin-Heather's messed up showmance drowning out Naomi and Cookie's and Lee's stories. For as much airtime as she got, I still have no clue who Heather Marter is, what her her story is, or anything other than she is in a bizarre relationship with a **** star.

This episode title made me really sad for Nicholas Cage. What the hell happened? Er...anyway. On to the finale we go!

I also thought the first half was rocking and then the bottom just dropped out...

I'm ready for the season to be over and the new challenge to begin. Challenges > Real World. I didn't give this season a chance when it started and then actually got into it, so I liked the season overall.

Of course someone has to get married. But Mike and Naomi? That's laughable.
fabulous788#13
Dustin: "I'll do it as long as I don't look like an idiot on TV." Whoops, too late.
Morris1721#14
The wedding is "kinda" for fake? What part of it is gonna be real...one of the rings is a RingPop...

Too bad someone didn't substitute what they were using for indelible ink. Now that would have been really funny...a week later.

You get bonus points for that one :whistle3:

This is too easy. "I've never been on live tv" Dustin
fabulous788#18
I can't believe that Dustin can't get over Naomi and Cooke painting themselves blue. It's over and done with. Sheesh.

Naomi could be the next Rebecca Black after telling us when the days of the week fall. "It's Sunday, then Monday comes after Sunday, then it's Tuesday..." Good for her.

:( Poor LeRoy. Death is the hardest thing to get over
Dash_Vegas#21
=( Leroy!
Morris1721#22
I feel really bad for Leroy. This reminds me of when Danny's dad called him on Austin and told him that his mom died. I dislike(ed) Danny with a strong passion but even today when I see that scene I still choke up.

Definitely hard to watch someone go through that on national television as well, especially someone as tough as Leroy.

Good call, unless there was a preview that showed it ;)

Haha Dustin doin Mike's hair
fabulous788#28
Mike couldn't handle it. Oh geez. Bahahahaha, "They are getting naked." Definitely what a strip club does the last time I checked.

I totally missed what happened to LeRoy. I heard that his friend died but what happened to his friend? Health, murder or accident?

They said he was shot by the police, or at least that's what I heard his friend on the phone say.

Something with the cops and his friend having a gun. He was shot and killed.
