Behind the Screen: Real World: Las Vegas 2 - Aftershow

The reality TV landscape has never been more crowded or more diverse. From dating shows to competition series to docusoaps, networks and streamers are betting big on unscripted content.

What sets the great shows apart is their ability to create genuine moments — the kind of unscripted drama that no writer's room could manufacture. That's what keeps fans coming back.

My biggest problem with Chet is that he seems so biased toward Mike and against Dustin. He has made several negative **** star references on FB and twitter since this season started but never really said anything when Dunbar's movie came out. I think a good host needs to hide that sort of bias.
Dunbar's movie??? I never heard about this. Please tell me more.

Mike has serious issues, from the letter to him being more mad at Dustin than the parties that should be. Every episode is Dustin going about his own business and Mike all up in Dustin's business.

Brandon Nelson's interview on May 5 with Mike Ross on his Blog Talk Radio / Liveatthestudio.TV show gives a substantially different perspective on Dustin. Mike speaks to the events through the last episode. Noor joined Brandon in the studio for the interview (Brandon and Noor are now roommates in Las Vegas) Real Talk with Brandon 05/05 by RealTalkwithBrandon | Blog Talk Radio FYI: Brandon, Noor and a bunch of people from the MTV family will be joining other reality "stars" for Vegas Bash 2011, Sept 16-18 at the RIO Suites Hotel and Casino. Big surprise. Mike still spending more of his time all up in Dustin's business. Proves my point. The whole "I don't like Dustin because of his gay-bashing" angle is so weak since he turned a blind eye to all the ignorant comments Leroy made.

It proves your point? Seriously? LOL Brandon and Noor asked the questions with considerable input from the listening/viewing audience. What would you have Mike do, tell the all to f-off? You seem to be the one out of step with viewer reality here. PS. Did you actually listen or just pontificate as it fit your apparently preconceived point of view?

These tangents you go off on and the personal attacks you make do not add to the discussion. It seems like you can't handle opposing opinions on a message board. I said nothing about Brandon or Noor; therefore, I have no problems with the questions so I don't know where you got that from. Mike's stance that Dustin is this horrible person is on full display. Mike should get out more. Then he'd have a better idea of what "bad" people are.

It's not a personal attack for me to question the logic or the factual basis of your position. Your wrote, "Mike still spending more of his time all up in Dustin's business." Personal attacks are not permitted against any member. I'm simply questioning how Mike simply responding to what he's asked is being in "Dustin's business." Mike was present for far longer than the video we've seen of their interaction in the hotel suite and elsewhere. He is certainly in a far more authoritative position than you or I to express an opinion based on his observations. In fact, in the interview, he seems to go out of the way to be sure he provides supportive information behind his opinions...and consistently says Dustin is a good guy in many respects. By the way, my questioning of your opinion or of others doesn't necessarily mean that I disagree or agree with you or anyone else. Through questioning we have a far greater opportunity to discover the truth than by blind acceptance. (Socratic Method) If I have a problem, it is in the occasional posts that really are laughable and discredit the site. Those I almost routinely ignore because nothing good can come from pointing them out.

There's no single viewer reality. And just because you don't like my response doesn't mean I didn't listen to the interview. Again, I don't have an issue with Mike answering questions. I'm saying Mike's problem is that he cares way too much about what Dustin's doing or has done when it really doesn't affect his life. If someone asks me a question about something someone else did, I could A) go on a long rant about how I hate the person and want nothing to do with them or B) say that I don't care and instead talk about other fun times I had in the house. It's a choice.
