the only asian males i can remember are steve and yes but both were on road rules.  i dont remember the last time we had a full asian female on the cast.  off the top of my head the last full asians we got were jamie san diego, ruthie hawaii and janet

most asian guys and girls too don't really have the contentious type of personality they're looking for on these types of show since a lot of people would just call them "boring" or "wallpaper" But even then they should have been able to have found at least one atypical one.

right, thats why i said they can find an atypical one but even then its no guarantee as evidenced by joi and her seemingly alternative exterior with a personality that doesnt match up

production looks for a certain type of personality trait when they are casting and most asian cultures, especially if youre talking about the japanese, korean, northern chinese variety, dont fit that mold

Lol that's the same as saying all ethnicities act the same way and almost lumping all Asian ethnic groups together. It's not only on the real world where Asians aren't properly represented. 

asia is a big *** continent so that is why i made the distinction as to which ones are the most likely to not appear yet represent a very clear and highly dominant visualization of what a lot of people thikn of when they imagine what an "asian" is
