Behind the Screen: The Real World: Ex-Plosion - San Francisco (2013) - Bet

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

Oh no! Jay just got another number, he's fallen off the wagon again!

The guys this season are losers I swear. What's Jay's obsession with getting numbers and not getting any play, what's the purpose?

Cory and Thomas are jealous at Brian stealing their shine in next weeks sneak peek: Show Clip - Sneak Peak | Ep. 9 | Sneak Peek | MTV
Of the 3 of them Brian is the most calm, while Cory/Tom are screaming at him to relax. Never liked either of them and this just enforces that dislike. Half of them were probably only cast BECAUSE of their exes, same with the Victor Twins on BGC. And to whoever mentioned acting I completely agree, most of the "OGs" come off very manufactured and aware.

"Jenny's a mythological squid" I'm not even sure if he meant that as a negative but it doesn't sound good. Brian has funny one-liners that aren't meant to be one-liners, he's dead serious.
Haha I agree. I didn't like Brian that much when he came in but now I find him hilarious. He is never trying to be funny but it is hysterical.

That dream had me in stitches... like what are you talking about lol

Cory & Thomas are slowly taking Frank's title as my most hated Real Worlder with how they are acting in that sneak peek. I'm pretty sure Thomas is only hype because he thinks Cory will jump in & help him. As for Cory I hope he does a Challenge & one of the guys on there brings him down a couple of notches with his little tough guy act.

As for Thomas, it looks like (by his shirt) that was right after his fight with Hailey so that's why he's still so hype talking to Brian. But Cory just wants camera time.

Lol what the hell are yall thinking. Saying some guy on the challenge will take Cory down a couple of notches yeah okay. Like who? CT or Johnny... IMO I really think Cory could beat most if not all the guys up in a fight who are on the Challenges.

Yeah because people that are big and played ports haven't be a disappointment in the past...I can see CT and even Bananas beating him in my opinion. Plus by what heard Cory is not that smart.
WESANDNANYFAN#47
Cory seems dumb. Yeah he is big but a lot of the competition is about strategy so I can see Bananas/CT beating him.
Squad#48
I'm talking about Cory could beat them in a fist fight not competing lol.

CT would still win in a fist fight lol Thomas won an arm wrestling match against Cory, even though Cory's Arm is 3 times bigger and supposedly he is "stronger" Show Clip - Web Exclusive | Arm Wrestling | MTV 3979

Cory reminds me of someone like Dunbar. Big muscles and a lot of talk but can't back it up. He seems like he's more of a lifter than an athlete. That's saying that he probably isn't as coordinated as he needs to be to do the challenges. IMO he's middle of the pack until we actually see him compete.
Squad#51
Why do people feel like CT can't lose a fight. WTF ... I highly doubt CT could beat Cory up in a fist fight. We'll see how good Cory can fight when they show the entire fights between him and Brian. Which from all the preview clips show Cory winning.

I don't understand Jay at all. He acts like he's single when he goes out and about, he doesn't really want to give Jenna the girlfriend title, Says that they're happy, Then he gets mad when she confides in one of the Jamie her doubts about him...I get it. She should've said something when Jaime said something about it. but at the same time it seems like he's sending mixed signals to her and he doesn't seem to get that. I honestly think that he wants to **** with other girls while being in a relationship..He wants his cake and eat it too it seems. But to the person who said that the guys this season are pathetic..I agree. with the exception of Brian the guys this season are just..sad and it's disappointing.

They clips also show him doing the attacking. One Brian's not even squared up, the other one Brian is seating facing forward in a van.

Unlike dunbar Cory played football and seems athletic, I never thought Dunbar would be good. But then again MJ did to and he was a huge disappointment so I guess we can't know how good he'd be until he goes on a season.

Brian is comedy on two legs.
asdasd9999#57
Just watched the episode. Brian is a moron for telling Jenny. Every guy in the house didn't want that to happen because they knew it was going to snowball effect into their lives. Also who the ****** would be in a relationship with Jenny? Jay is cheating on Jenna. Seems like he is making up for his lack of sex in high school. Thomas needs to get over high school/college long distance cheating, everyone does it. Did he really think any guy or girl is going to sit in their dorm room on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday?

He really is. He's funny, laid back, seems intelligent and has some good one liners. Brian is the best out of all the guys.

You do realize they are being recorded right? He would look like a much bigger ******* if he never told her and she just found out last week...... she was going to know sooner or later, better he tells her himself instead of her being told by someone else.

I just watched and I wish security didn't step in. What I love about Portland (unpopular opinion) was how real and raw the finale was. When that fight went down and the cast had to figure out what to do themselves is what to me seems like The Real World. The Real World doesn't have a huge security man preventing you from doing anything. It's not like Jenny was hurting Brian nor was Brian going to hit Jenny anyways -_-. But hey that's just me I guess. Hopefully producers step out of it during the Brian and Cory fights. Also does anyone know what Brian is mixed with?
