Maybe the twist is they are having people from other seasons live in the house as well. Doubt it though.

That Saturday when MTV was airing old school & most memorable RW episodes before the premier of Portland, they aired Meet the Cast of RW28 segments. Nia said on TV she sent in 6 tapes. While Joi admitted she was herself during her audition tape, and most of the tape was her cooking & baking things like cup-cakes. Attractiveness is a factor but sincerity is something casting takes seriously.

I looked at a couple of casting tapes from Youtube of potential cast members and didn't see anyone interesting enough. There is one guy in particular who they better not cast. Like his only reasoning was being connected to someone who's already been on the show.

Agh, I just want to see what cast they get together. As long as we know at least ONE, so we can have a feel or something. It bugs me because if they've had the finalists for at least 2 weeks already the cast should be selected already, and I'm hearing filming won't start until August

By the way Averey wasn't interesting other than Hooters scream "Tits". The only thing good about hers was the flash from normal girl to hooters girl.

You're going to have to enlighten me on that whole Nathan/David/CT situation because I'm not familiar with it. I don't mind someone auditioning because their friend did and got on but I would also like for you to showcase your life which the person I seen didn't. I don't post people casting tapes because I wouldn't want mine to be posted here unless I made it on the show.

Who auditioned first? Did they know each other before the show? If you really want to see their casting tapes just Youtube "Real World 30 Audition Tape".

nATHAN AND DAVID WERE ON either the same season on one after the other. both attend some military school. then chris/ct came in 03. but it was known iirc AFTER they all the did the initial shows.

I just watched a few audition tapes on youtube and got seriously depressed. There are actually people who believe they should be cast for one reason: they like drinking. What is worse, judging from past few seasons, these are the types BMP is apparently looking for. If I see one more video solely about drinking and partying or hear the words "I love drinking, drinking is my hobby" again, I might throw the compiter out the window.

Just checked out the videos on Youtube... none of those people are on my radar. That being said, I am NOT saying that they have no chance of being cast... my radar is very limited lol. But the couple people I know made it to the finals don't seem so much like that.

First part no. Chicago is just fine but I can't seem them going back especially after the previous twist.

They should alternate between Regular and Twist seasons , it would help regulate the show , I mean St.Thomas had a twist in the fact that they lived on a Private Island , I just hope the twist doesn't include people moving in cause I can't focus on more than 7-8 people at a time on a show like this , there were times last season where too many people who disappeared and reappeared throughout the episodes.

The private island wasn't a twist. Let's face it: MTV signed up for more seasons of RW because Ex-Plosion provided the only ratings bump of any importance over the last few seasons. I'd expect a twist this year unless BMP decides they want to call it quits after Chicago for some reason.

If this is the last Real World season, I assume MTV will advertise it as so. I can't see them missing the chance to tout it as the last season to increase viewership. I guess we'll find out in the next few months if this is true. If they don't, I'd assume that they have a mapped out plan for the next few seasons, provided viewership is get enough.
