I guess I shouldn't judge this season by the location, like you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. But I was shocked to read that there would be a season in Cancun, and that it seemed to be a season idea to contrast this one. Since it's been said they will work for Student City, does this mean they have abandoned the "people going for their dreams" motif for this season? Perhaps they are trying to satisfy both groups of fans of the show. Could be a good idea for them. I remember how I was listening to an interview with a former cast member, and she was saying they seem to alternate between party season and serious season. I notice I tend to like the more serious seasons, but I did like Vegas, even though it gets panned and picked as the season to change the show, better than some of the past several seasons or thought it seemed more interesting (with a couple of exceptions).

Cancun!?!?!? SRSLY!? Like it's not feautured ENOUGH on MTV?? Ugh, maybe I'll change my mind later but right now I'm a little disgusted by this choice...

I have to agree, cause to be honest when I heard about RW: brooklyn at first, I thought it would be boring. I was wrong about Brooklyn, though. And there's definatley a chance RW: Cancun will be a good one.

I just hope the season won't be centered about partying.

agreed 100%. I kept making jokes about Brooklyn but it definitely has been a surprising season so far. A real good one... better than a lot of the other recent ones IMO. This is the first season where everyone was likable and you look forward to watching all cast members, in the past it's usually only been 1-2 members and the rest are "eghhh"

Who knows, maybe BMP will cast responsible people - since their job will entail some amount of maturity (I could be wrong!) Not to sound shallow (probably will though) but we need more attractive people on this next season

It does sound shallow though because someone being attractive doesn't necessarily make them an interesting character to watch on TV. As a matter of fact if they go back to casting nothing but "hotties" then the show would end up reverting back to hook ups, alcohol and beat downs. We have VH1 for all of that now...

Not to mention....beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. "Attractiveness" is different for everyone.

I didn't even think of it as lingo, it is what I grew up saying and now that I look back on it, I really need to just say fighting because beat down makes me sound so ghetto...but then again I guess you can take the girl out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the girl.
