I missed having you around! Agreed, we need some spoilers started, I can only take speculation talk for so long before I need some good spoilers.

Well, what would happen if they hypothetically cast eight strangers, none of whom were above age 21, and had them live in a 5 star hotel room suite for 4 months? Maybe Rockstar Ryan (Joey) would hypothetically******** first. Perhaps we would see a more white trash take on a promise ring. Maybe we would see a girl go from straight to heteroflexible over one of her female housemates and the trailer could possibly be the most inane melodramatic thing to be spliced together this side of The Hills. After two episodes, which I totally don't have access to, I felt the urge to start spelling "you're" as "ur" and thought that eating paint chips was a good thing to do. Obviously this wasn't meant to be a throwback season. Or perhaps it was, only it was more of a throwback to Vegas than say San Francisco. I got the chance to speak with Jonathan Murray at the 20th Annual GLAAD Awards a few weeks ago where I was informed that there was enough hot tub and hookup footage to last for the next four seasons of TRW. Even though I have access to more, I won't even bother watching this drivel. Though I'm sure all the RealWorldDailies addicts will be quite thrilled with this puddle-deep cast. It's the little things, like for instance, in Brooklyn everyone had attended college. Of the original 8 only one had attended. I give them some leeway considering the cast is primarily composed of infants, but future congressional candidates these ain't.

Thats so wierd, thanks Katelynn. I hate to go off topic but I find it hard to believe people didn't like Brooklyn but like Hollywood and also are thinking this season is the real roots of TRW...

Sad that it is not going to exceed, or even meet, my very low expectations from the sound of your hypothetical review. I was not too happy when I heard it was going to be in Cancun and pretty much avoided learning anything about the new season because of it. I may just skip it and wait til DC which sounds much more like my cup of tea from what I have heard so far.

Wow, you "hypothetically" saw a lot of what sounds like a useless, ****** season. At this point, I think I'm going to flip a coin on whether I give the premiere a watch.

The "premiere" let me down, considerably. When I heard that this season was going to air in the same year as mine I was sweating, but since I don't make my money from club gigs I'm not at all concerned. There is no way in hell they will come even remotely close to my season's premiere ratings. And that's not just prideful posturing on my part either. This season should be renamed to "Pretty White Kids With Problems". Or perhaps "Dawson's Creek: Cancun".

Oh no...me thinks I'll have to shower after every episode...

Honestly, just the fact that its in Cancun let me down, but hearing all this just adds to it. Let's pray that the first two episodes are the only worthless ones of the season.

TJ supposedly the trailer comes out this week at least thats what a previous poster here had said.

I've missed you guys too China Doll! I have seen the trailer and the superteaser. It's a mix between Hollyhood and Sydney. Drunks collapsing, women being catty, crying, throwing shit. And Joey -- who I will forever and always refer to as "Rockstar Ryan" because he carries around and plays an electric guitar -- talking about how "she ruined my life". Now, I don't know if that means he was waiting on two pink lines or if he came down with a case of Cancun bathhouse VD, but I'm sure it was something relating to his crotch as that is what he makes most of his decisions with. The trailer was just a group of pedantic children throwing a temper tantrum.

IDK about you guys, but I pray there is A LOT of DRAMA. I loved Brooklyn, but I need Cancun to satisfy my young, wild, crazy side. I know I sound Bi-polar. Great to have you back Kate, you're the best.

I could care less whether this RW goes back to the LV roots or the SF roots. I'm watching! I have been watching every moment since day 1 and I don't plan on ever stopping regardless of cast or issues discussed.

Hearing some of these things is disappointing, but I can't say that I didn't really expect this since the season is in Cancun. I'll still be watching though. I really don't think I could get myself to not watch.

As I've hypothetically told some of the hypothetical cast members, I'll go into this season hoping it will be my favorite and give it every chance along the way. I am the eternal optimist when it comes to The Real World (well, at least through the first 15 minutes of episode 1!)

Thanks for the info Katelynn! As soon as they announced the new season was going to be in Cancun I knew I was probably going to pass. But I have to admit deep down I am intrigued by the mother-daughter make out session. I'm equal parts repulsed and fascinated.

A quick note from our sponsors: A source very close to production of the upcoming season wanted me to say a few things. 1.) There was no sex in the hot tub. 2.) The majority of the cast did attend college (rather than the minority.) 3.) Katelynn, more than anyone, should understand the editing process and give the season a chance. A lot of what was described was ripped from weeks of footage and crammed into a neat little package, but might not accurately reflect what really went on. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

No sex in the hot tub? Is this season even worth watching now? lol Editing can really mess with the reality of many situations. Sometimes it is what it is but you always have to keep a open mind.

I think its funny that Kate talks shit about us, don't hate girl or guy, whichever you prefer, we all had a blast...you might be the biggest loser I know for leaking this shit, I told production anyhow that you were leaking all this shit..so hopefully you will get a life, or a ****, and shut your god damn mouth for once, seriously, be quiet. I just want to say a couple of things. While I can't confirm what did or did not happen as I am under a contract (and you'd think homegirl would be too, as I'm wondering why she got to see our trailer, let alone OUR SEASON, before we did. I can tell you this. The Real World is about different people, with different lives, strong personalities, and different experiences. That being said, each cast will have a different experience and there's no way you can compare them to one another. Whatever is edited, is fine...but the cast who went through it, knows the truth. I find it hilarious that someone who went through a SIMILAR process in that they are 'alumni' of the show, someone who could share a future experience with us, would find it necessary to come in here and mock us...which leads me to wonder, is your act of controversy on purpose.. to instigate a future quarrel on tv? dramaaaaaaaaa. I'm sorry Cancun is going to share the same year as Brooklyn, but that's MTV's issue, not ours. And despite the location, there are actually educated people on the show - 7 out of the 8 have been to college, some on full blown scholarships - we just know how to ****ing party. And that we did. So put that in your pipe and smoke it. That being said, there was also other things that didn't involve partying - will it air, I don't know. But apparently someone who wasn't even a part of the experience thinks they do know. Oh - One more thing. You would think someone who has been through so much, and did it on national TV, would be the least judgmental person out there. Wow, the irony in how a person who is faced with constant bigotry and ignorance everyday can be so hostile, judgmental and ignorant themself.

Ok, so i hope that the responses from these two cast members are a good insight of what's to come on this season. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS SEASON TO PREMIERE!
