Behind the Screen: Real World: Back to Las Vegas: Naomi Defensor

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

I'm sorry but that quote makes Naomi look really dumb and her biography describes her as "intelligent"! Unless I missed something, I don't get a brainy vibe from her at all. Remember when MTV used to cast people getting their PHDs, womens studies majors etc.? :weep:

Some of the most stupid people I ever met at my school were women's studies majors.

Wow, well, the ones I've met have always been interesting, albeit sometimes militant, but always smart. Kameelah and Montana from the Boston season were both women's studies majors and also well-read around-the-way girls. I really miss the kick-*** feminism of previous cast members.

Substitute "stupid" with "psycho" and I would agree with you 100%. Maybe that degree will be more relevant in New York City than in most places. That said, I like Naomi. I am not sure if I like her more with her hair straight or curled. It is like she has two different personalities depending on what is going on with her doo.

Almost anyone in college can be a Women's Studies major if they choose to be so. Doesn't really mean much at all unless you graduate the program. I was in a different major in college that is considered challenging and there were plenty of students my fresh/soph year. A lot less after that....

What is up with Naomi's thing she does...I don't know how to explain it. She'll be like "Oh RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT" or "I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW." Do you guys know what I'm talking about? Lol, its so funny. I know I'm late but I just recently started watching Vegas.

Might be a subconscious way of buying time to figure out what to say.

I loved Naomi and thought she was hilarious,I would love to see her on a challenge but I doubt she will ever do one. I have a feeling that the only girls from Vegas that will do one are Cooke and Nanny.

I think she would do a challenge, but I just think she is going to be a comical relief. I think she going to be like a brooke, casey & shouvan.
