Not necessarily if they have a different parent. Anyway, I like Leroy well enough. He has a certain old school Eddie Murphy mannerism I like and he seems pretty level-headed.

After listening to the podcast, he is officially my favorite. Dude seems like hes a good dude and very down to earth.

I must admit, I didn't not think that I would like Leroy this season. I was totally wrong. He ended up being one of my favorites this season!

Same here! Leroy is seriously on the list of my favorite male Real World roommates ever :) Leroy & Mike are the voices of reason this season, in my own humble opinion. I'm so glad we have them to look forward to each week.

I thought I wasn't going to like him because of the ultra douchy pictures that leaked of him during the spoiler sessions but I was wrong. You can't judge a book by its cover, now he's my favorite roommate in recent years (or ever)

I completely agree. I thought I was not going to like him, but now he's very high on my favorites list out of all 25 seasons. The entire scene of him breaking **** was classic.

Being a garbageman and being smart are not mutually exclusive. Good job with good benefits in a lot of places. Based on the Meet Leroy daily from his application video, it looked like maybe he worked the brush/yardwaste truck.

Garbage men also make lots of money in big cities. It's not a bad job.

Depends a lot on whether you work for the city or a private contractor, but most definitely yes when you work for the city. You get good benefits on health & retirement, and paid comparable to other more "respectable" jobs.

Real World hasn't had a cast member this awesome in a while. Definitely my favorite this season. You're right, this guy was totally born to be on the Real World.

I think he's got to be the most likeable person on the real world all time

He is not my most liked person, but he might be the least un-liked. I never hear anyone say anything bad about him, except the episode were he was ignoring Naomi with her issues, but he straightened up real quick.

It only sounds like a good idea because the season just ended, it'd be as successful as Joey's spinoff from Friends lol If Ryan and Chet or Coral and Mike didn't get one then there's no chance for these two. Their personalities won't be able to carry a show. They're funny sometimes, and that's about it.

He was funny and "real" i guess. I'm not so sure why he's such an amazing cast member either though.

I'd take a Leroy and Mike show before a Jwoww and Snooki show in a second.

People like him because he is real and seemed to make the most sense in the house. He is one of the most entertaining people I have seen on Real World in a long time. He was right about Adam too. Nany was so stupid.

Derrick had Heather, Naomi, and Nany on the podcast and they all had some pretty incriminating stuff to say about Leroy...they seemed to think that editing did him a lot of favors. I still like the guy a lot, but it's interesting to hear that.

I only half-listened to the podcast because it was so chaotic in the beginning before Derrick started to take control and direct the flow of it. The only thing I heard them say was that he was a womanizer.

Why would they be bitter? I think they'd know more about what those guys are really like than the fans. I thought it was really interesting, he did appear like a womanizer to me on the show and on the podcast he did with Derrick.
