Hmmm.... :) My personal take on this: I never really disliked Paula until the Island. That's where it started for me. I feel like as a woman she's a sell out. I remember her telling Ev to "not be such a boy" or something like that- because as women she thinks we're supposed to let them control things etc. It made me sick to see her sell out all the girls to boys who clearly don't give a shit about her. To make things worse, IMO she hasn't changed much either. She still is pathetic with Dunbar or whoever else shows her a little attention at some point. I wish her the best and would love to see her get stronger as a human and woman, because life is about growing. Sending lots of love and light to Paula. ;)

What makes you so sure she never got with Dunbar? I heard she did. I thought cast members even say she did? The problem I have with her is her sense of entitlement on all of the challenges -- and her whiny baby voice. My dislike for her has nothing to do with who she hooks up with or who she doesn't hook up with. It's her personality I can't stand.

Can you explain then? Is it confirmed Dunbar cheated on Julie with Paula?

Paula and Dunbar have definitely hooked up, and I think Dunbar might have admitted to it. Also when Dunbar went to the Duel he was asked by his girlfriend to not room with Paula or share a bed at any point.

Remember folks, just because it wasn't edited into the show, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I believe Julie and Dummybear broke up. Her myspace status say single and Dunbar isn't on her top. But Dunbar's myspace says he's in a relationship and he has Julie first so idk. If Paula and Dunbar did hook up Paula would a huge hypocrite because she said "Shauvon don't bang others ppl ex boyfriends and you won't **** ppl off" but she's messing/trying to Dunbar and he's clearly in a relationship. I don't like Paula... she's a ****, with fake breast! Sorry for being mean :( but she ****ed me off.

It was stated a while ago that they had broken up. If I remember correctly, Julie moved out while Dunbar was filming The Island.

WOW tell us how you really feel, LOL I have to agree with Therealdeal2 that I didn't really dislike Paula until she started acting like that on the Island and her voice makes me want to smack her and shake her to see if she would snap out of babyville. I didn't dislike her on Key West...I think I was just a little annoyed with her sometimes.

I agree I had no prob w Paula until The Island, She trys so hard to be "down" and pretend she's something she's not. If she were to stay to herself instead of being w Kenny, Evan and Dunbar I think she would be alright. Hello! They did screw her over on The Island, Think she would learn from that... no! She's only making herself look bad on tv.

i really liked Paula on Key West but now shes annoying

I don't hate her. But i don't like how she talks **** about people right in front of them. For example, on the island she said rude stuff about Ev when she was standing right there and then pretended she was friends with Ev. Also, when she lost the island she sat in the treasure chest and cryed and said to her teammates that she should've been on the other team.

This. I'm sure somewhere deep down there is a sane, likeable person. But on the shows she comes off as crazy/whiny and like she's entitled to something. Very undesirable traits.

I know for me, I didn't even really notice Paula until the Island. I didn't pay any attention to Key West, and she didn't necessarily stand out to me on the challenges she did before the Island. But, on the Island, I totally started disliking her, most of the reasons having already been mentioned- the hyprocisy, the baby talk, how she sold out every other female, just to save guys that were just using her. I remember, when I REALLY started disliking her, was when Robin wanted to help build the boats, and Paula ranted about not wanting to be on a boat that a girl built.

I don't really overall much of an issue with Paula as a lot of people do, but I do agree that she can be annoying at times. For anyone who might consider her as having a promiscuous image, perhaps that's because she seems to latch herself onto guys and become dependent on them? She also seems to try and play up a sexual image at times (i.e. the costume party where she was describing her costume - Poke Your Hontos or something like that). Also, she seemed to be looking to hook up on this challenge - on one episode she named some guys and was considering them for hooking up. On RW Key West, didn't Paula make out with the girls John brought home and try to block him from having something happen with them? I remember discussion about her feeling as though she was trying to protect them from John. She also hooked up with RR VR Derek and RW Adam on G3. Wasn't there some suggestive scene with her and Ashli on The Island Dailies site as well? I was watching some Duel 2 dailies and they had the best of The Island Dailies in a section, and one of the descriptions and pictures for one of the clips alluded to something suggestive. Probably was a playful thing, though. But yeah, she's obviously not chaste. That doesn't necessarily mean she's a ****, either.

I don't like the fact that she doesn't rely on herself when it comes to these challenges. She latches on to the men and expect them to take her to the end.

It seems to me that you are basing your determination upon only watching TV, whereas others have some independent knowledge of Paula away from TV. They may have a good point that you are missing. Reality TV is fiction; the sooner people figure that out the better off we will all be.

Who are these "others" who with the independent knowledge in this thread, besides the obvious? I am not an insider and mainly have to rely on TV to base things on. I was just pointing out things that I have seen Paula do or know that's she's done based on episodes of the show. I was just trying to answer Mizfit's question based on what I'd seen or heard of Paula doing. Mizfit was wondering who Paula hooked up with, and I gave him some examples from the shows. Yes, reality TV is edited, but not everything that is shown should be completely discounted. Did she not have a hookup with Derek? Did she not make out or flirt with John's dates? I also was not disputing anyone who has information of Paula (i.e. not disputing anything that was said to have happened with her and Dunbar, etc). Most of what I have seen in this thread is people posting their opinion of Paula, and not all of these opinions are based on people actually knowing her or having inside information. But even if I knew a lot of insider information on Paula, it is completely possible that my opinion and perception of her might not be the same as someone else's with the same information, due to differences in personality, ways of thinking, etc. She's not a favorite of mine, but she's not my least favorite either. That's just my opinion.
