Did any of you read about the issues Lil' Kim has with Faith Evans and Biggie's mom and this movie? I was looking up Naturi Naughton when I saw she played Lil' Kim in the movie. I thought, "good for her to be doing something like this after how the whole 3LW situation played out." And when I googled her, there were articles and blog mentions about Lil' Kim not wanting to have anything to do with the movie and threatening to "expose" Faith and Ms. Wallace. On one hand, without having seen the movie, I could see a possibly of Lil' Kim's relationship with Biggie being made to look more like he didn't really love her or she could have been betrayed as a really foul side girl. However, she did become a side girl and allowed herself to be one when she continued a relationship with him when he married Faith. And really, it sounds like they tried to reach out to her to get her side of the story for the movie, but she already felt like things weren't going to be right, so it seems she kind of declined to give further info. And when you do that, you lose some control over the portrayal. I don't think it's really nice the way she is handling the situation.

Hopefully alot of these fake rappers(like plies, shawty lo) will fade away this year. Thankfully people like Jay Z,Nas and Outkast are still around. I think hip-hop will take a big turn this year if Dr. Dre's Detox finally comes out and if Eminem drops his cd.
