Behind the Screen: A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

For over two decades, MTV's The Challenge has been the proving ground where reality TV's fiercest competitors come to cement their legacies. What started as a Real World/Road Rules spinoff has evolved into one of the most physically and mentally demanding competition series on television.

The franchise's expansion — with spinoffs in the USA, UK, Argentina, and Australia — speaks to a global appetite for the brand of cutthroat competition and alliance-driven gameplay that Vevmo's community has been tracking since 2007.

It's "this generation's" horror movie. No depth, inconsistent, no character development, but it was gory and fun...

Mostly horror these days are packed with gore and the focus on the story is actually lessened with most of the films as a result. I haven't seen it yet though so I can't judge quite yet...

Boo to this movie, I went and saw it last weekend and it sucked!!! The first half was decent, the story mostly revolved around Katie Cassidy and her dreams, shes a great actress and the best parts of the movie were from her scenes, but after her character died the movie fell to pieces. The man actress was so boring and the story was so slow and never really reached a climax. I mean it did a good job of going back and showing why Freddy is the way he is, but the main actor and actress totally didnt deliver the goods. Freddy didnt look like the original Freddy either, they looked totally different and I thought that was crap, that would be like giving Michael Meyers a new mask for the new Halloween movies. Dumb. Katie Cassidy did a great job and thats about as good as it gets with this movie.

I think Kellan Lutz and Katie Cassidy should have been the main characters. Kellan Lutz did a great job.. and he has a better screen presence.

You gotta be kidding me. No at all. Plus you only saw him first the first 5 minutes or so. I hardly call that "better screen prescence".

I am a pretty funny girl.. but no.. not joking. :) I suppose we have different opinions..and thats ok... but I think he did a better job in his 5 mins than the other kid did through the entire film. Couldn't we get Johnny Depp back?

If J. Depp came back I would pass out because he was just that good.

I thought Kellan did a better job than the other kid too. His scene was way more dramatic and intense and he is a better looking actor than the other kid. The 2 main actors were just so boring and just not interesting to watch.

I thought it was odd that Kellen as well didn't have a larger role but then found out that he was filming new moon during this and filmed his scene during the end of the movie. So he really didn't have time to carry a large role.

FYI... at 9pm EST there's a documentary on Biography about the film franchise. I'll be tuning in for sure. :)
