Yes. I believe it was for The Next Pussycat Doll show that aired on the CW 2 years ago. Also fresh, are they going to be 6 girls? you said Nicole is returning.

There is going to be 5. Nicole is in the middle and their sound is more Rock and Soul now.

Music Group,Also Melody Thornton is the only one to not confirm her position in the group so........she may return.

Rino can hardly speak well in English how the hell is she going to sing in it? Then again only that main chick sings and the others dance which is perfect for Rino. Oh well, good for her.

Consider if you will that Nicole Scherzinger and Christina Applegate started the group over a decade ago as a tribute to burlesque shows of old. Since then, it has become a phenomenon dance/burlesque show, then they all of a sudden cut an album and became a singing group out of nowhere.

Carmen Electra was apart of it too right?

Carmen was not part of that group ... although she "guest-starred" more frequently than most during their shows like Christina Aguilera and Pink following Moulin Rouge which is when it really took off. That film did wonders for their shows, even Lindsay Lohan made an appearance.

Robin Antin and Christina Started the group as a buresque troupe then Gwen Stafani presented the idea to make it into a girl group with Nicole and Melody being found along with Kaya Jones in 2003 then they cut the group from 9-10 to 6 ,Carmen was part of the PCD Burlesque as well.

I liked the old group better.

This group seems very diverse from the last one :)

I don't really understand the decisions made with this group. But I guess this group has been odd from the get go. I've been a fan of some of their music and all (more so the first album), and I like Nicole (liked her since Popstars/Eden's Crush days), but from what I read I find all this stuff going on with the group changing ridiculous. Yes, Nicole was the only one who was singing the songs (well, at least the only one they allowed), so in that sense she was "the group." And yes, this is Robin's group that evolved from just being a dance troupe, so she has rights over the PCD name. But the fact that all of the others but Nicole are gone, coupled with the fact that Nicole seems to still be pursuing a solo career, makes this whole "let's make a new group and keep them as PCD" so odd. I know Nicole didn't succeed the first time with her solo effort. But she's still trying apparently, and she just won DWTS and got publicity with that. Why not just leave PCD alone and go forth with the solo career? There seemed to be some fans who liked the other girls in the original group, so I don't necessarily think everyone is going to accept the new group so easily. Then again, as long as they have the right songs and all, they should be fine.

TBH Nicole cannot suceed as Solo because her solo efforts sound like weak PCD records she sings all the time so when she comes out by herself people forget while litening that it is just Nicole,If Kim,Melody for example sung with her that she would do alot better but since she is the sole singer the two carerres are often mixed.

Interesting. All I know is that they have a GREAT lead singer now and if they bring great music then they might just win me over.

I know you didn't ask me but RichGirl was a 4 piece Rn B girl group that had fairly good songs they were compared to Destiny's Child.

And I bet they have unreleased, unsigned music all over youtube when they should be in mainstream, hunh? I hate when good bands go through that only to disband.

RichGirl was amazing. They have a song called "Smile and Wave" with Chris Brown and lots of music that wasn't released mainstream on youtube. He Aint Wit Me Now Tho was all over the radio in my hometown when it first came out. Lyn was ALWAYS compared to Beyonce so I wonder if she'll take over a lead role in PCD

This New PCD is meant to be more of a group than lead singer and glorified back up dancers,Lynn,Taz,Kia and Lauren all have some pipes on them so I actually believe Robin for once.

Wow, I knew there was a troupe but didn't even know the actual group had a line-up before Nicole, Melody, Carmit, Jessica, Ashley and Kimberly... it seems weird to me to think of the PCDs without them, but I sure am excited that the group is still alive and well! After the break-up of Destiny’s Child and Danity Kane, Girlicious and Richgirl not being that good, and then the rumored break-up of the Pussycat Dolls, I felt something was missing in my life haha. Let's hope the new girls are as good or better than the "old" ones. For anyone who doesn't know about RichGirl, they also sing Love on Me and Got Away. Not as good as He Ain't With Me Now Though, but they're ok. Does anyone know if the PCDs are recording new music already?

The are in the studio,Robin's trying to push them to release a single before the end of the year and there will be a reality show produced by Kim K as well following there formation.
